Candidates who wish to join the CBI must write the Union Public Service Commission Examination. Those candidates who have completed their graduation with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to appear for this exam.
Candidates who are applying for the UPSC examination must be citizens of India. They must be atleast 20 years at the time of applying. SC/ST/OBC candidates must be atleast 30 years when they apply. The candidates who qualify in the written test will be later called for a Physical Test and Interview.

To become CBI inspector, you have to apply for Civil service Exam which is conducted by UPSC every year.
After selection , you can apply for IPS cadre, which is alloted according to rank.

Eligibility:
You can apply after completing your engineering /final yr of engg.
Age Limit:
21-30 years.

CSE is a very competitive exam, only 900 students are selected out of 4 lakh candidates.

To join the CBI, you will need to appear for Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam, conducted by the SSC (Staff Selection commission) every year.

The minimum eligible age is 20 years & the maximum age limit is 27 years with relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.

Height: 165 cms
Chest: 76 cms. with expansion

The examination comprises of two papers.
1. General intelligence & awareness
2. Arithmatic

After clear the preliminary exam then followed by the Main exam.

The Main exam comprise of
English language, Comprehension, Communication skill and writing ability ,Arithmetic and
General studies.

Pattern of the examination :

The examination is done in three phases ::

Crime Branch CBI (Central bureau of Investigation) is a specialized wing in many state police forces in India of their Criminal Investigation Department .

Other branches of the CBI are:

State Crime Investigation Bureau
Finger Print Bureau
and Scientific Section.

C.B.I --- CENTRAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION

The minimum age must be 20 years

Maximum age is allowed up to 27 years

And you must have a Minimum Graduation from a recognized university

Chest must be 76 cms

Height must be 165 cms ( Men )

Height must be 155 cms ( Women )

You will need to appear SSC or UPSC exams

You must attend for Combined Graduate Level Examination

The minimum percentage must be 50% in Academics ...
