    What are the required qualification for PCS exam? Can I prepare for it on my own?

    hello sir, i m amandeep kaur. i m pursuing msc-it and iterested in giving pcs exam. But I have no knowledge about this exam. Kindly send me the details for this exam. So, that I can prepare myself for the same..

    hai,

    PCS stands for Punjab Civil Services.This PCS exam is conducted by the Punjab Public Service Commission(PPSC).

    Eligibility Criteria :

    Candidates must be Indian

    Candidates must be complete Graduation from a recognized University

    Candidates age limit between 21 to 28 years

    **3 years for OBC candidates

    **5 years for SC/ST candidates

    **10 years for Disabled persons

    Selection Process :

    Preliminary Examination
    Main Examination
    Interview

    *) The eligibility for PCS exam is listed as below:-

    *) The candidate should be citizen of India.

    *) The candidate should taken Punjabi as his/her subject in Matriculation/State board.

    *) The age limit is 21 to 37 years.

    *) PHYSICAL QUALIFICATION:-

    *) Minimum height for men:- 5'.7"
    *) Minimum height for women:- 5'.3"

    *) chest(unexpanded):- 79 cm.
    *) chest(expanded):- 85 cm.

    ***) The main thing is that the candidate should not have color blindness.

    This exam is conducted by punjab to recruit the government posts.

    ELIGIBILITY FOR PCS EXAMS ;
    You must be indian
    You ust have graduation from recognised university.
    Age limit is 21 to 37 years

    Number of attempts for this exam
    General category is 4
    Ex - servicemen 3

    For these exams selection process is

    PRILIMS,
    MAINS,
    INTERVIEW.

    Dear,

    PCS stands for public civil service.

    LET SEE THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-
    * you must be passed graduate with any stream or subject from the recognized university.
    * age should be 21 to 30 years.
    * age relaxation for obc 3 years, for sc/st 5 years.
    * you must be indian.


    LIMIT OF ATTEMPTS:-
    * general = 4 times
    * obc = 7 times
    * sc/st = no limits.
