Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes. can enroll for the gate exam .

-it is conducted every year for taking admission in M.TECH.

- you can apply in final and pre-final year .

- there is no cut off in percentage to apply for the gate exam

- there is no age limit for applying for gate exam .

- though gate exam you get admission in IIT AND NIT COLLEGES AND SEVERAL OTHER COLLEGES .

- to take admission in IIT OR NIT COLLEGES you need to score above 99 percentile .

- to clear gate exam you should have good knowledge of your subjects .

- join a gate forum for good preparation .

- take online test for practice .

No % is necessary to enroll for GATE exam. But if you clear it, then to get admission in IIT minimum 65% required. For other colleges any percentage will do work only GATE clear is required.

hello..
GATE exam is conducted inviting admissions for postgraduation in engineering
in IITs,NITs and several other colleges..
It does not have any such cutoff percentage..it only depends on the number of students who
have qualified exam in that academic year..
and then they are shortlisted and choose colleges by merit..

the one with greater percentage chooses first..
thats why if you are aiming for IIts then you have to get more than 75%..
