    FRIEND,

    TGT stands for TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER and PGT stands for Post Graduate Teacher
    so friend this course is for those who wanted to become a teacher after graduation and post graduation.

    This exam is conducted by upsesscb Allahabad and the educational qualification needed for this is that those who have completed their graduation are eligible for TGT

    exam.

    The Minimum age criteria to appear in this exam is 21 years and there is no upper age limit for this exam.

    Scheme of the TGT examination is: The exam is divided into three pars and they are:

    Part -1

    1) General Awareness
    2) Current Affairs
    3) General Science & Indian Constitution
    4) Reasoning
    5) Quantitative Aptitude
    6) Teaching Aptitude etc
    7) questions and the medium of the question paper will be both English
    and Hindi.

    Part-2

    English -20 questions
    Hindi -20 questions

    Part 3 covers your own subjects.

    There are two papers which are given in the document attached below.

    For PGT you must be a post graduate from any recognized University

    Your age must be above 21 years.

    This exams has no limit on number of attempts and You can give it at any time.

    To qualify for TGT(Trained Graduate Teacher) there are some eligible criteria as below.....

    You need to complete 4-years integrated course(which ever the subject it may concern) with minimum of 50 % of marks.....

    And the age limit is minimum of 21 years and no upper limit......

    Hi.....Dear
    **For attending the TGT exam, you need to be a minimum graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.

    **You need to have scored at least 50% of marks in the graduation level.
    ** For PGT exam, the candidates should have a PG degree with around
    50% of marks from recognized university or college.
    ** For attending both the exams, you need to have a B.Ed.
    ** Also you need to have a
    teaching experience of 2 years for attending the PGT exam
    ** and 3 Years in case of the TGT exam.

    Hello,

    TGT or Trained Graduate Teacher, this post is for those who have done B.ed .

    TGT Elligibility:
    Candidate must have B.ed degree with minimum 55%.marks.
    Candidate have to give the TGT entrance exam .
    Candidate age must 21 year ,no upper age is limited.
    After qualifying This exam they will gt the post of TGT.

    PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) ,those who have done M.ed are eligible for PGT post. A post Graduate or M.ed candidates are eligible for PGT.

    Thankyou .

    To get PGT post ,M.edu is necessary. The candidate who have dome B.ed are get the TGt pot.

    Elligibility for PGT:
    Candidate must have post graduate or Med. After B.ed.

    Hi aspirant,

    TGT and PGT

    Trained Graduate Teachers and Post Graduate Teacher exams are conducted by the Director of School Education Board for the recruitment of candidates into various posts of School Assistant, LP, PET & SGT posts. This exam is conducted every year and at present government has notified 21343 post vacancies that will be filled up.
    • Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT)-11602 Posts
    • School Assistant Ė 5695 Posts
    • Physical Education Teacher (PET)-364 Posts
    • Language Pandit (LP)-1998 Posts
    So if you are waiting to work in govt schools for teacher posts,then you can apply this entrance exam and for this required eligibility criteria are follow follows;..

    Eligibility Requirements :

    Age Limit and Relaxations :
    • For SGT, PET, LP & School assistant required age limit should be between 18 and 39 years.
    • There is also a privilege of age relaxation which is available for reserved category candidates i,e 5 years for SC / ST candidates and for PH candidates is 10 years.
    Educational Qualifications:
    • SGT: You must have completed your intermediate course from a recognized board with D.Ed certificate and also you must have qualified the TET entrance exam.
    • School Assistants: You must have passed the graduation with bachelor of educational in relevant subject and also you must have qualified the TET entrance exam.
    • Physical Education Teacher: You must have completed your intermediate course from any recognized board with U.G.D.P.Ed or Graduate degree and B.P.Ed or M.P.Ed recognized by NCTE
    • Language Teacher: You must have passed your bachelor of educational course in addition to a graduation course in any language taught over India.
    Selection Procedure:

    Selection procedure is categorised on the basis of marks obtained in written test. According to the test candidate will be assigned different teacher posts mentioned above.

    Application form for SGT, PET, LP and School Assistant is available online between 3rd week of February to 3rd week of March on the website http://apdsc.cgg.gov.in.

    For PGT

    The candidates, who have studied BE/B.Tech./AMIE in any branch of Engineering or M.Sc in Physics/Statistics/ Mathematics / Applied Physics/Geophysics/Computer Science, are eligible.

    For TGT

    A Participant who satisfies the eligibility requirements of Section 2.1 shall receive an SPP Benefit Transfer Credit under this Plan if he or she:

    (i) is classified as an Officer of the Company; and

    (ii) has a vested benefit under the Target Pension Plan, including a vested interest arising on account of the Participantís death.

    TGT stands for TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER.

    Teachers having B.ED degree or other teacher straining certificate after graduation is refferEd as TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER.

    Teachers having training certificate after post graduation is reffered as POST GRADUATION TEACHER(PGT).

    ELIGIBILITY FOR PGT (TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER):

    **Two years integrated post graduate M.Sc course of from NCERT course in the concern subjectS.
    (or)
    **masters degree from a recognized university at least 50% marks

    **B.ED or equivalent qualifications from a recognized university and proficiency in teaching in HINDI AND ENGLISH.

    ELIGIBILITY FOR TGT(TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER):

    **Candidates should have a bachelors degree or equivalent from a recognized university with 50% of marks in the concern subjects

    **B.ED or equivalent qualifications from a recognized university.
