CA course involves 3 levels. CPT is the entry test for this course. 12th class pass outs can attend this exam. The next level is IPCC. CPT pass candidates can go for this level. But, an exemption to this rule is there. Graduates can straight away do IPCC with out CPT. In this case, you are not eligible to apply for IPCC with this marks. Commerce graduates or post graduates need to score 55% marks in qualifying examination so as to apply for the same.

    Hi......

For admission into direct for IPCC (second level) of CA you must have score 55% in B.Com graduation and for non commerce 60% is required.

CA is a professional post graduation course in Accounting.
And also provides practical training in Accounting.

The CA course has three sections:
    CPT
    IPCC
    Finally CA.
After the completion of IPCC successfuly you have to register yourself for Articled training as a clerk or auditor for practice and have to under go for computer training of100 hours of Information Technology.

CA pass out work as following in any company:

    Financial controller or managerial post.

    Accountant manager.

    Thanks

The required percentage in Graduation for Direct admission to IPCC :

    Commerce Graduate with 55 %.
And Non Commerce graduates with 60 %.

Less than above percentage the candidates can't be able to apply for IPCC.

CA IPCC is divided in two groups and course duration is 9 months.

After the IPCC the candidates are required to enroll for 3 years of Articleship training.

    Thanks
