    For Deputy Collector post you have to crack the State public service commission,this post is an executive post which comes under gruop-1 (gaztted).However,Assistant Commissioner post generally comes under gruop-2.



    The minimum qualification for it is you must be a graduate in any field.

    your interest to become a district collector is really appreciable as you completed your graduation your eligible for the exam first of all you have a desire to become IAS officer be determined till you acheive your goal to become an IAS officer you should appear for CIVILS examination conducted by UPSC

    For writing this you're eligible only if you have a degree from any indian university and you have to have the age of min 21 and max 30

    You can apply for PCS exam, which is conducted by PSC(Public Service Commission) for various posts, the top most post is the post of Deputy Collector(SDM) in PCS.

    Educational Qualification:


    1)You must have complete the graduation in any trade from a recognized university.

    2)You should not have any pending backlogs during graduation.

    Age Limit:

    >>The age should be in between 21-30 years for general category students.

    >>For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.


    Religion:

    >>You must be a citizen of India.


    Number of Permissible Attempts:


    >>For Normal Candidates - 4 Attempts

    >>For Ex-Servicemen -3 Attempts.

    >>For Sc/St no limits

    Eligibility Criteria For IAS


    (i) Age limits :


    21-30 years as on 1.7.2011. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories as specified in Para 3(ii) of Notice).


    (ii) Educational Qualifications :


    Bachelorís degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification (Para 3(iii) of Notice).


    iii) No. of permissible attempts :


    Four (Seven attemps of OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs (Para 3 (iv) of Notice)




    (iv) Fee :


    Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only)

    (No fee for SCs/STs/Physically disabled only)

    Eligibility for deputy collector:
    you have to be qualify in state public service commision examination.
    --> you must have graduation degree form a recognized university.

    The upsc conduct this examination.
    The exam consist of three stages.

    ********Required Eligibility :

    For become a deputy collector, required educational qualifications are you must completed the graduation from recognized university and here not required any percentage.

    Required minimum age limit should be 21 years and maximum age limit should be 30 years and here age relaxation is also available for reserved category candidates as per govt rules such as;.

    And he want about your l;life
    then can about it the following ways
    >> 3 years for OBC category candidates,
    >> 5 years for SC/ST category candidates.

    ***********No of Attempts **************

    >> General - 4 times,
    >> OBC - 7 times,
    >> SC/ST - no limit.

    Selection procedure :

    For getting the deputy collector post, the selection procedure is based on the written test and interview and apart from first conducted the written test and after qualifying the written test called for interview.

    Now coming to written test and this test containing the objective type questions with multiple choices answers and here no negative marks and 1 marks for every correct answers and here questions from your degree level subjects.

    After qualifying the written test called for interview and then you will be a deputy collector officer.

    This exam is conducted by State Public Service Commission

    For this post you must write the GROUP II exam.

    And you must crack this exam

    ELIGIBILITY FOR Deputy Collector Post ;

    You must have a minimum of Graduation

    And the minimum age must be 21 years

    Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years

    Of course there will be an Age relaxation for the reserved candidates

    No.Of Attempts ::

    General 4 Times

    OBC 7 Times

    SC / ST No limit

    Selection Process :

    CSAT entrance exam

    Mains

    Interview
