With Post graduation degree in two subject areas you can certainly apply for lectureship jobs in engineering colleges. You can apply for lecturer positions in both government colleges as well as private colleges. In order to apply for lecturer positions in government colleges you need to appear for NET exam conducted by UGC. PG degree with 55% marks is the required qualification for this exam. If you qualify in this exam, you can apply for jobs in any reputed government engineering colleges. In case of private colleges, post graduates can apply for vacant positions. But preference will be given to candidates with NET qualification. Higher preference will be given for candidates who have experience in teaching. Selection process for lecturer jobs in private colleges will include personal interview and teaching demo.

my qualification is MCA so can i apply for lecturer in polytechnic college?

i completed M.sc(software Engineering) from SRT university,Nanded.Now if i am doing MCA from punjab Technical University by taking advantage of "lateral entry scheme ",which gives me admission directly to MCA fifth semister,will i be eligible for lectureship in government polytechnic after doing MCA using lateral entry?
