    IBPS exam 2011,to get job in banks,which known as common written test,need some standard qualifications and age to attempt the exam.When you come across with Education qualifications,must pass/studying final year degree,which recognized by government of India.And also the student/candidate should me citizen of India. The age must be between 20-3o years for general candidates,for SC/ST Candidates,5 years relaxation was there.for BC category students relaxation set as 3 years.for the PH candidates 10 years and ex-service-men 5years.

    Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts a Common bank exams for 19 public sector banks except for the SBI and its associates banks.

    Eligibility ::

    You should have completed your degree in any streams from a recognized university.

    You should be between 20 to 30 years to take the exam for general category students.There is some relaxation given to reserved caste students in upper age limit.

    For SC/ST the relaxation in upper age is :: 5 years
    For OBC the relaxation in upper age is :: 3 years

    You can take the exam as many times as you want and their no limitation for it .

    The examination is of objective as well subjective types .Objective paper mainly deals with ::

    Quantitative Aptitude
    General Awareness
    English Language
    Computer Knowledge
    Reasoning

    Descriptive papers depends upon ::

    Essay writing
    Paragraph writing
    Point of views and
    Letter writing

    Sorry to say you can not apply for this year common bank exam because the date of submitting the form has been over .The last date to fill the application form was 2 august so you can not apply now.

    IBPS conducts CWE(Common Written Examination) for jobs in 19 public sector banks.
    The eligibility criteria for IBPS exam is as follows:
    nationality: indian
    age: minimum of 20years and maximum of 30 years(upper age limit relaxation is available for BC-3years,SC/ST-5years,PH-10years etc)
    academic: graduation in any discipline from recognized university.

    The conditions of eligibility put forward by the IBPS for Bank exams are following.

    1. The age limit is 20 to 30 years.

    2. The applicant should be a graduate in any discipline.

    3. The applicant must be either
    - A citizen of India
    - A subject of Nepal
    -A subject of Bhutan
    -A Tibetan Refugee who came India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement.

    The IBPS is organising a Common written examination from this
    year onwards through which Management trainees/ Probationary officers
    will be selected for 19 Public sector banks.
    The educational qualification of a candidate aspiring to sit in
    this examination should be a Bachelors degree in any discipline from
    a recognised university.
    There is no percentage bar to appear in this examination.
    The age of the candidate must be atleast 20 years in order to sit in this exam.

    Eligibility Criteria :-

    IBPS -- Institute of Banking Personnel Section

    The minimum educational qualification required to get into the field is :
    A Graduate DEGREE from any recognized university with just pass percentage .
    The age of the applicant must be in between 20yrs to 30yrs .
    Age Relaxation should be :
    SC/ST of 5years
    BC of 3years
    PH of 10years
    EX-SERVICE MAN of 5years

    Mainly the applicant must be an Citizen of INDIA .

    Imp Dates to be noted :
    Online Registration starts on : 09 July 2011
    Closes on : 01 August 2011
    Exam Dated on : 18th september 2011

    Exam Pattern :
    The exam is an objective type method containing 250 questions and must be answered in 150minutes .

    IBPS is conducting common exam for 19 public sector banks working in India, through this pattern you can
    give 2 exams for PO and 2 exams for clarical in a year..

    Eligibility for bank PO;

    -you should be graduate from any recognized university

    -your age should be between 21-30 years

    Eligibility for clarical;

    -you should be 10th with minimum 60% marks or 12th with minimum 50% or graduate from any recognized university

    -your age should be between 18-28 years

    IBPS stands for Institute of banking and personnel selection so this is the institute which is responsible for conducting the exam for the selection of Bank clerks and Probationary officers and management trainees.


    There are two types of exams conducted by BANKS and they are:

    1)PROBATIONARY OFFICERS
    2)CLERKS

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR PROBATIONARY OFFICERS:

    1)You must be a Graduate in any field from any recognized University.
    2)Your age must be between 21 to 30 years.
    3)If you are in the final year of Graduation then also you are eligible for the exams.
    4)You must have a basic knowledge of computers.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CLERKS:

    1)You must be a graduate in any field from any recognized University.

    OR

    2)You must have passed 12th class with 50% marks.

    OR

    3)You must have passed 10th class with 60% marks.

    4)There is no criteria of minimum marks for the SC/ST category candidates.

    5)Your age must be between 18 to 28 years.

    There are a total of 19 public sectors participating if you wanted to go through IBPS.

    IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.This exam is conducted to Recruit the students for bank jobs .To apply for this exam you need to complete your graduation from a reconized university.You can also apply if you are in the final year of your Graduation.Your age need to be between 20-30 years.This exam is conducted in both objective and descriptive type`s.Objective type is of 150 min duration.Descriptive type is of 60 min duration .The score card of this exam will have 1 year validity.

    Hi,

    IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel selection which is a body that conducts exam to recruit candidates for the post of the clerical cadre or specialist officers under 19 public sector banks. The Exam is named as CWE(Common Written Exam).

    To appear for the exam there is some eligibility criteria that you need to fulfill:

    You need to pass your 10th standard from a recognized board with a minimum of 60%

    (or)

    You need to complete your 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of 55%.

    (or)

    You need to complete your graduation from a recognized university .

    The age limit to appear for the exam is 18 years to 28 years.

    Age relaxations applicable for SC/ST and OBC candidates:

    5 years age relaxation for SC/ST
    3 years age relaxation for OBC.

    Syllabus for Written test are:



    Test of Reasoning
    English Language
    Professional Knowledge
    General Awareness

    The Objective paper carries 200 Marks and 0.25 marks will be deduced for all the wrong answers.

    The second part is the descriptive where you need to answer an essay which carries about 25 marks.

    IBPS( Institute of Bank Perssonal Selection) conducts examination for the post of :
    clerk
    Probationary officer
    management traniees
    for clerk post-->
    1) 10th and 12 th pass with 58%
    2) age limit:
    18 years to 28 years.
    For POs and Management trainees-->
    graduation degree minimum pass with 50% from recognized university .
    Age limit:
    20 years to 30 years.
    The 19 banks participate to conducte this examination for employees in banks.
    The candidates have to qualify the common written examination test.
    Than qualified candidates are selected for INterview round and if you are selected in this round than surely you get job in any one of 19 banks.

    IBPS conducts common written examination for the recruitment of clerical cadre vacancies which was approved by 19 public sector banks.
    The candidate who are attempting the CWE need to have the specified age and necessary educational qualification.
    Eligibility criteria:
    nationality: A citizen of India
    age limit:
    At least 18 years to maximum 28 years.
    Age relaxation for OBC,sc/st/PWD is provided.
    For sc/st: 5 years age relaxation
    For obc: 3 years age relaxation
    For persons with disability: 10th years relaxation.
    Educational qualification:
    1) high school secondary pass with 60 % and for sc/st/pwd/obc just pass is sufficient.
    2 ) Or 12 th with 50%.
    3) Degree in any dislike from a recognized university or equivalent
    examination pattern details:
    IBPS CWE paper pattern:
    CWE is of objective type paper.
    Total no. Of question-250 and marks 250
    time duration: 150 minute.
    Negative marking for wrong answer.
    Successful candidates issued a secorecards by speedpost/Registar post which will be valid for one year.
    Test of reasoning
    Test of English language
    Test of general awareness with special reference of Banking Industry.
    Test of computer knowledge.
    Selection procedure Details:
    1 . The candidate who have cleared in CWE they are considered for the vacancies of the participating banks.
    2 . After CWE the IBPS will given a scorecard for qualifying candidates.
    3. Each participating Public sector bank independent to issue separate recruitment notification.
    Each bank carry out their own selection such as Interview for final selection.
