    ABOUT (IBPS) EXAMINATION 2011 -

    A Common Written Examination will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for selection of Probationary Officer and Management Trainee posts in the Public Sector Banks.

    >> And any graduate Degree candidates are eligible to apply for this examination. So, If you have completed your graduate degree course and your age should between 20 to 30 years, then you are eligible to apply for this examination.

    >> There is No Minimum Percentage Eligiblity Criteria to apply for this Examination.

    >> So, Any Graduate Passed candidates are eligible to apply for IBPS Examination.

    The Examination was going to be held on 18/Sep/2011 And the Last date of Online Registration was 01/Aug/2011. Eligible candidates May fill the online application by visit the IBPS website.

    The Examination fees of IBPS was Rs 450 and you have to paid the fees as a challan form in any nationalized banks the list of banks are availiable in the Notification.

    The Examination are divided into 2 Parts, Objective Type and Descriptive Type.

    In Objective Type examination you will get questions from Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and from Computer Knowledge. The duration of Objective examination was 150 Minutes. In Descriptive Paper you will get questions on English Composition like Essay, Précis, Letter Writing, the duration of this test was 60 Minutes.

    But The Descriptive Papers of only those candidates who secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the objective tests, So If you are satisfied the given eligibility criteria then you are eligible to apply for this examination and for more information please visit the official website -

    -Degree in any stream from a recognized university.
    -Age limit: 20-30yrs.
    Upper age relaxation for OBC is 3yrs and for SC/ST is 5yrs.

    Hello friend,
    Sorry,to say you that you shall not be eligible to apply for the bank PO exam as you are not satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria in terms of percentage which is 50% aggregate in bachelor's degree for you to apply.
    However some banks do provide a relaxation of 5% for OBC,SC/ST candidates, if you are one of them then be clear about the examination notifications through employment news and apply for them.

    CWE will be conducted by the Institute of banking personnel selection for selection of Probationary officer and Management Trainee Posts in the Public Sector banks.

    Relaxation of upper age limit is given to the various category.The category are SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-service men.

    The candidate must have a bachelor degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.

    There is no minimum marks for this examination.

    The last date for online of application : 01.08.11 and Date of written Examination : 18/09/11

    The cost of application form is 50/- for SCST/PWD candidates and Rs.450/- for Other candidates.

    Written examination consist of Objective type and Descriptive type.In Objective type will consist of reasoning,English language,General awareness,Quantitative Aptitude,Computer Knowledge.

    Institute of Banking Personnel Selection – IBPS is conducting Common Written Examination (CWE) from the year 2011 on wards for the recruitment of Probationary Officers/Management Trainees..

    - This exam is conducted twice in a year by IBPS

    Eligibility Criteria:-

    Educational qualification:-
    Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by state or central .

    Nationality/Citizenship- Only a Citizen of India

    Age :- The minimum age limit is 20 years and maximum is 30 years..

    Upper age relaxation :-

    The eligibility for the common Written Exam is as follows...
    AGE : Age must and should be between 18 to 28 years (Mini 18 years and Max 28) years as on 01/08/2011.Relaxations : 5 years for SC/ST/, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for Persons with Disables(Handicaped) and 5 years for Ex-Servicemen(military).
    EDUCATION QUALIFICATION : Applicant should pass in the tenth with the marks of 60% in SSC/TENTH or its EQUIVALENT for GENERAL and coming to For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM a pass mark in the tenth standard

    The eligibility criteria for the IBPS exams that is for the Bank PO`s and Clerks is as follows they are
    Eligibility for the Bank Po`s
    1.Must have completed pursuing the graduation with a minimum of 55%
    2.Must be having age between 21-30 years
    Eligibility for the Clerks
    1.Must be having the age of 18-28 years for general category & for SC/ST-18-33 years & for OBC-18 to 31 years
    2.Must have completed +2 with a minimum of 50%
    3.Must have secured 60% in the matriculation exam.

    The candidates age must be between - 20-30yrs.

    IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.



    For any entrance examination or competitive examination we should check whether we're fulfilling the eligibility criteria or not. IBPS conducts it's examination twice every year. It conducts a Common bank exams for 19 public sector banks except for the SBI and its associates banks.

    Eligibility Criteria :

    1. Candidate must be Citizen of India.
    2. Candidate must have completed degree in any of the streams from a recognized university.

    The age limit is given as 20 to 30 years for general category students. though there is some relaxation given to reserved caste students of the upper age limit.

    For SC/ST the relaxation in upper age limit is :: 5 years
    For OBC the relaxation in upper age limit is :: 3 years

    The exam can be taken as many times as one desires and their no limitation for it.

    Exam Pattern For IBPS PO Exam :



    The participating banks are:



    IBPS will print the Score Cards for each of the qualifying candidates and will send the scorecards either by Registered or Speed post to the candidates at their correspondence address specified at the submission of the online application.

    It will take u some time to get the score card but if havenot got the score card yet i.e more than one week then you can either write a e mail to contact@ibps.in or you can call to 91-22-2968 7000 this number.

    After you have obtained the IBPS score card you can use this scorecard and apply for all the 19 banks and without any written examination you can simply prepare for the interview. The various banks participating are



    Make sure you are serious and obtain your score card but not just wait for the scorecard to land at your home through post. Prepare well for the interviews and get a job and start your career.

    IBPS had recently concluded IBPS PO entrance exam on 18th of sept 2011. The results have been announced recently, another examination is on march 11th, with last date to apply finish you must attempt for the next exam in September tentatively.

    IBPS Stands Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and the exam is conducted to recruit candidates for the post of Clerical Cadre , PO and Specialist officers under 19 public sector banks in India.

    For the post of a Clerk:

    You need to complete your 10+2 from a recognized board
    You should be a citizen of India (or) a Subject of Nepal (or) A Subject of Bhutan.
    You must have Attained 18 years and must not be more than 28 years of age.
    Upper age Relaxation for SC/ST(5 years) and OBC(3 years).

    For the Post of a PO:

    You need to complete your Graduation from a recognized University with any Discipline
    You should be a citizen of India
    You must have Attained 21 years and must not be more than 30 years of age.
    Upper age Relaxation for SC/ST(5 years) and OBC(3 years).
    You Should have good Communication Skills.

    For the Post of a Specialist officer:

    You need to complete your Masters Degree/Graduation/Law/PG

    You must have Attained 21 years and must not be more than 35 years of age for the post of Scale I officer and for the post of Scale II officer you should be 21 years to 45 years of age.

    ibps is the bank exam for posts in banks.so it is conducted to select po and management trainee posts.the written exam is conducted to select the qualifie persons for po post
    the eligibility for po post is that
    you have to get the certificate as a grduate in recognised university.
    your age limit sholud be as follows
    you have to be atleast 20 years.your maximum age limit is 30 yrs
    if you are from sc/st categories then you have 5% ralxation
    if you are an obc candidate you have 3 yrs of upper age relaxation
    10 years relaxation for pwd category

    HELLO FRIEND
    The following are the eligibility details for the IBPS CLERK Exams:

    AGE:
    • The candidate must have attained minimum 18 years.
    • The candidate must not have more than 30 years of age.

    There is also age relaxation provided for reserved candidates:
    • For SC/ST candidates: 5 years,
    • For OBC candidates: 3 years,
    • For PWD candidates : 10 years.

    Education Qualification:
    • Candidates must have passed SSC with 60% of marks.
    • Candidates must have passed INTERMADIATE with 55% of marks.
