    -Degree in any stream from a recognized university.
    -Age limit: 20-30yrs.
    Upper age relaxation for OBC is 3yrs and SC/ST is 5yrs.

    IBPS exam 2011,to get job in banks,which known as common written test,need some standard qualifications and age to attempt the exam.When you come across with Education qualifications,must pass/studying final year degree,which recognized by government of India.And also the student/candidate should me citizen of India. The age must be between 20-3o years for general candidates,for SC/ST Candidates,5 years relaxation was there.for BC category students relaxation set as 3 years.for the PH candidates 10 years and ex-service-men 5years.

    The candidate must be having a degree from any recognizes university of India or one can also apply in the final year of a degree course.This exam is only for degree courses and not for anyone just having 10+2.The age must be between 20-30 years.It organises the Common Written Examination(CWE) twice a year as a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for Probationary Officer / Management Trainee posts in the Public Sector Banks mentioned below:

    CWE will be conducted by the Institute of banking personnel selection for selection of Probationary officer and Management Trainee Posts in the Public Sector banks.

    What are the required educational qualifications for IBPS exam?


    The applicant age should between 20 years to 30 years as on 01.07.11

    Relaxation of upper age limit is given to the various category.The category are SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-service men.

    The candidate must have a bachelor degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.

    There is no minimum marks for this examination.

    You are eligible for the IBPS after the BA hons. You can apply for trial only Because IBPS need a qualified candidate, and you are eligible for the IBPS after the BA hons. You are eligible the CWS 2011 entrance test which is conducted by the IBPS.

    IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection which conducts exam to admit candidates for the post of clerk or specialist officers under 19 public sector banks in India. The exam is called Common written exam . As of 2012 the exam is conducted on 11th March 2012.

    The Educational Qualifications Required to appear for the exam are:

    You need to complete your Graduation from a recognized university.

    (or)

    You need to Complete your 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 55% from a recognized board/University.

    (or)

    You need to complete your Matriculation(10th Standard) from a recognized board with a minimum of 60%.

    Your age must be between 18 years to 28 years.

    Upper age Relaxations applicable for SC/ST and PD candidates:

    For SC/ST the age relaxation is 5 years
    For BC the age relaxation is 3 years
    For PD the age relaxation is 10 years.

    To become a PO or a Clerk or a Specialist officer you need to appear for the exam which is divided into 2 sections:

    Objective type
    Descriptive type

    The objective type carries 200 marks and contains 200 questions in it. Negative markings are given to all wrong answers. Topics covered are Accounting, General Awareness, Test of Reasoning etc.

    The Descriptive consists of an essay which carries 25 marks and the duration of the paper is 60 minutes.

    The exam carries 225 Marks.

    IBPS Conducts the examinations every year for the selection of candidates in to the Banks of the 19 public sector banks and these banks are participating in the recruitment procedure for the banking's and all these banks follow the same procedure for the selection of candidates in to the Banks and they appoint dependingon the qualifying mark they obtained and the interview is conducted depending on the examination marks obtained and the people who had qualified will be selecting one of the 19 banks and attend the interview which is the main round for the selection procedure.....
    There is eligibility criteria which is to be followed for appearing to the examination.the criteria required are

    There are some basic educational requirements asked by the IBPS to be eligible to appear
    in the IBPS exam called CWE.So if you wanted to be a PO or Bank clerk then you have
    to appear in the exams.

    There are two types of exams conducted by BANKS and they are:

    1)PROBATIONARY OFFICERS
    2)CLERKS

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR PROBATIONARY OFFICERS:

    1)You must be a Graduate in any field from any recognized University.
    2)Your age must be between 21 to 30 years.
    3)If you are in the final year of Graduation then also you are eligible for the exams.
    4)You must have a basic knowledge of computers.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CLERKS:

    1)You must be a graduate in any field from any recognized University.

    OR

    2)You must have passed 12th class with 50% marks.

    OR

    3)You must have passed 10th class with 60% marks.

    4)There is no criteria of minimum marks for the SC/ST category candidates.

    IBPS conducted two types of exam that are
    >>Clerk Exam
    >>PO Exam

    To appear for clerk exam,you should have completed 12th class with any stream from a recognized university and your age should be between 18 to 28 years.

    To appear for PO exam,you should have completed graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university and your age should be between 21 to 30 years.

    After fulfilling with any one of criteria,then you will eligible for IBPS exam.Now their is no notification,but notification will be releasing soon.For updates,visit the official website regularly.
