There is no age limit for this exam so you can apply at any age.

The exam will be objective type.

The question will be asked from these subjects:-

Mathematics,

The duration of exam is of 3 hours.

The Eligibility Criteria for this Examination is :-

You must have completed you Intermediate with a min of 55% as your aggregate.
Your 10+2 certificate must be from a well reputed college affiliated to the recognized university.
Your age must be in between 18 years to 24 years only .
You must be qualified in the entrance examination(SEE) conducted by U.P Technical University.

As you said that you have completed 12th class with science subjects
so this is good that you are partially eligible for this exam
but if you want to fully eligible for this exam then you must have to complete your graduation degree in any stream
and talking about the AGE so one need to be in between
age of 18 to 40 years
and talking about the IERT so the forms are generally comes in the April month..

~ Yes ,you can apply for IERT i.e nstitute of Engineering and Rural Technology and this is conducted by the UP govt and this institute is conducted the entrance exams for the various courses like;;.graduation and post graduation and diploma courses;...

~ Apart from you can apply for the graduation course because of you are completing the10+2 only and for admission in graduation course details are follow bellow;...

~ For this exam the required educational qualifications are you must pass the 10+2 with 50% and you should submitted the certificate at this college and one more is the age limit for this entrance exam is 18 is the minimum age limit and maximum will be 24 years.
