Re: What are the required basic qualifications to register for CPT?

The basic qualification required for the CPT is a pass in 10th class. CPT is an entry level test conducted for CA course. You should register for this exam soon after completing 10th class. But in order to appear in the CPT exam, you should complete your 12th class. You should complete the 12th class from a recognized institute. There is no stipulation regarding the percentage of marks required in 12th class. Only a pass in 12th class is needed. If you have passed the 12th class, you can apply for the next level of IPCC.

Re: What are the required basic qualifications to register for CPT?

    Hi.......
For CPT( common proficiency test) examination one must have completed its 10th and 12th study.
CPT is nothing ,it is just a entrance examination for Charated Accountant course.
It is the first level for CA course.
The registration for CPT examination is opened through out the year.
The CA course has three level:
    1 CPT
    2 IPCC
    3 Finally CA.
To become a charated accountant is not a very easy task,
you have to workhard as required .
    Thanks
