    Graduation degree from a recognized university is the educational requirement for UPSC exam. other eligibility requirements are given below..Eligiblity Criteria for UPSC exam:

    Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year,in which you are appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs.

    Number of Attempts:
    04 attempts for open, 07 for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt.

    You can apply offline & online for this exam.

    To write UPSC Civil Service Exam you should be a graduate from any recognized university.



    If you want to become IAS Officer you have to write the UPSC Civil services examination.

    In your 12 standard you should have the subjects as maths,physics,and chemistry.

    The examination was conducted by UPSC Comission every year and the Notification of the examination was Published in the Month of February every year.

    If You want to pursue IPS you should be graduate from any recognized university.

    You should have the following subjects in your 12 standard maths,physics,chemistry.

    You Should pass in the physical fitness test conducted by the government.

    *To Pursue IES course also you should have above Eligibility.


    Age Limits :

    >Candidate must have the age between 21 years and 30 years .

    >There is a relaxation Upto a maximum of 5 years if a candidate belongs to a ST/Sc or ex service man.

    Must be graduated from a recognized university is the educational requirement for UPSC exam. Eligiblity Criteria for UPSC exams are as follows:----

    NDA ::This examination for selecting students at officer post in ARMY ,NAVY and the AIR FORCE .
    Its is conducted by UPSC
    Held two times in a a year .
    You must have passed class 12th in any streams for ARMY and for NAVY ,AIR FORCE physics and maths are the compulsory subjects
    You should be between 16.5 to 19 years of age

    CDS::This examination for selecting students at officer post in ARMY ,NAVY and the AIR FORCE and OTA
    Its is conducted by UPSC
    Held two times in a a year .

    For ARMY and OTA
    You must have passed your graduation
    You should be between 19 to 24 for ARMY and 19 to 25 for OTA

    UPSC conducts CSAT exam for civil services every year.This exam is conducted to select candidates for civil services like IAS,IPS,IFS.

    If you want to become a IAS,IPS officer then you have to appear for CSAT exam.BAsic requirement for civil service exam is that you should be a graduate in any stream and you should be physically fit.


    Eligibility for CSAT:

    1.You must be at least 21 years of age at the time of filling the Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam form and not more than 30 years of age,33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs

    2.Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs.

    3.You should have a graduate degree from any college which is recognized by UGC, or possess an equivalent qualification.

    4.If you are in the final semester or have taken their final degree exam but are awaiting the results can also appear for the IPS Preliminary examination provided they furnish their proof of degree while filling the Mains form.


    Procedure is follows:

    There will be two written exam and after that interviews will be there .All three are elimination round.You have to perform good in all three rounds.

    From last year some changes have been done to increase the efficiency of the exam. In new pattern
    give special emphasize on the aptitude skills and decision making skills of the participating candidates.
    1.In pre exam two papers will be there,each of two hours a) General studies and b)Optional subject.Objective type questions will be asked.

    2.Main paper comprises of 9 papers,each of three hours.One of the Indian languages,2 papers on general studies ,2 papers on option-1 and 2 papers on optional-2.

    3. In the end interview will be there.Interview will be of 5-7 hrs.

    4.Merit list will be out.

    Following things will be in paper:

    Comprehension
    Logical reasoning and analytical ability
    Decision-making and Problem-solving
    General Mental Ability (GMA)
    Data Interpretation

    Important dates:

    1.The prelims will be held around May-June.

    2.The main written examination usually takes place in Oct-Nov.

    UPSC Requirements:
    The following are requirements are necessary
    1.The candidate must be citizen of Indian
    2.The candidate must completed 12/graduation.
    3.The candidate must secured 55% marks.
    4.The candidate completed graduation from discipline university.
    5.The age of the candidate is 18-28 years
    After above qualifications the candidates must need to write an examinations of NDA(National defence academy) for 12th students,CDS exam (common defence service) for Graduation candidates and these two exams are conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

    Requirements for exam :

    Age: 21-30 years at thirty years at the time of examination day.
    Education: Completion of any degree you can take the total university profess at that time.
    Exam: There is a Preliminary and Main exams are present.
    Preliminary: Hear 2 papers can attempt minimum of 450 marks. Paper is set in Hindi and English.
    Main:Hear 4 papers for the examination.
    Citizenship: citizen of India.
    Application Fee: It is 50/-.

    Information About Civil services Examination :

    The Civil Services Examination is a national competitive examination in India conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Comission every year for recruitment to the various Civil Services of the Government of India, including Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) etc.

    This examination is conducted into two parts, Preliminary examination and Main examination.

    Preliminary examination consisting of two objective-type papers - General Studies and Aptitude Test, Both these examination will be of same marks and duration.     Union public service commision is a committee organising all the civil services exams.

    You should have completed the graduation with any stream from a recognized university.(There is no restriction of minimum marks).

    Your should not be less than 21 and more than 30 years for General category.(3 years relaxation for OBC candidates and 5 year for SC/ST).

    You can only sit for IAS exam 4 times if you are from General category.
    (7 times if you are from OBC and unlimited times if you are SC/ST).

    hi,

    If you want to become I.A.S officer then you have to pass the graduation in any stream you want from the recognized university.

    I.A.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

    Eligibility criteria:-

    >pass the graduation from recognized university.
    > Age limit:-
    For open category:-21-30year
    For OBC category :- 21-33year
    For ST/SC category:-21-37 year
    > Number of attempts:-
    For open category:- 4
    For ST/SC category:-7
    > Must be citizen of India.

    Graduation degree from a recognized university is the educational requirement for UPSC exam. other eligibility requirements are given below..Eligiblity Criteria for UPSC exam:

    Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year,in which you are appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs.

    Number of Attempts:
    04 attempts for open, 07 for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt.

    Union Public Service Commission conducts Civil Services Examination so as to recruit candidates into Indian Administrative Services, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Revenue Service, Indian Police Service , Indian Postal Service,etc.The exam is conducted in two levels,

    Civil Service exam is conducted by (UPSC) union Public Service Commission.And this exam is held once in year.To intake qualified students into different government Service posts.

    Service Post under Civil Service Exam:

    Civil Service Exam consist of:

    Union public service commission every year conducts exam for recruitment in civil services posts.
    The minimum requirement is that-
    1. You should be graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks.
    2. You should be between 21-30 years of age.
    3. You should be indian citizen.
    Also,there is relaxation in terms of age limit for st/sc/obc candidates.

    The requirements are:

    >You must hold a degree or its equivalent.
    >If you are waiting for the results then also you can apply for the same and the proofs must be produced as and when required.
    >You are also eligible If you have a professional and technical Qualifications recognised by the government
    >You should be a citizen of India.
    >You must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained 30 years .
    >Age relaxation is:
    5 years for SC ST
    3 years for BC
    5 years for ex-servicemenn
    10 years in case of blind,deaf handicapped persons.

    NEW DELHI: The Union Service Public Commission (UPSC) will conduct the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2012 on May 20, 2012. The examination will be held at various centres across the country.

    Candidates can apply online using the UPSC website. The last date for filling up the application form is March 5, 2012 till 11.59 pm

    The Preliminary Examination shall comprise two compulsory papers of 200 marks each.

    (i) Both the question papers will be of the objective type (multiple choice questions).

    (ii) The question papers will be set both in Hindi and English.

    However, questions relating to English Language Comprehension skills of Class X level will be tested through passages from English Language only without providing Hindi translation thereof in the question paper.

    (iii) Details of the syllabi are indicated in Part A of Section III.

    (iv) Each paper will be of two hours duration

    Hi dude,

    UPSC stands for UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION.

    Civil service exams are conducted by UPSC.

    UPSC conducts not only Civil service exams it includes Army exams like NDA,SSC,SSCW etc...

    To apply for this exam you need to attained 21 years of age.

    You need to have a Bachelor`s degree from a reconized university.

    Your age should be in between 21-30 years.

    Age relaxation is Available for SC/ST/BC/OBC Category students.

    For SC/ST Category 5 years relaxation is given.

    For OBC Category 3 years relaxation is given.

    For Ex-service men 5 years of relaxation isgiven.

    For Disability persons 10 years of relaxation is given .

    these are the few requirements for a civil service exam
    1)you should have a minimum of 60% in 10th
    2) 55% in your 11th and 12th
    3)you should be a graduate from any reputed institute
    then you should qualify the exam
    4)Your age should be in between 21-30 years.
