The candidates should be a graduate who have studied science as their main subjects during this level. Mostly, B.Sc. graduates in the areas of agriculture, pharmacy, food technology or dairy technology are eligible to apply.
The graduates who have undergone training in food technology are also eligible to attend this test. Other candidates who have a similar degree with that of a graduation can also apply.

UPSC conducts this exam twice a year.

Physical standard requirements food inspector:

*Height should be 157.5 cms.
*Chest should be 81 cms

DETAILS ABOUT FOOD INSPECTOR EXAM

Union Public Service Commission conducts All India Food Inspector exam for the recruitment of Food Inspectors in various offices within the country

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:-

Food inspector examination is conducted by UPSC as well state Public service commission.

The main function of food inspector is to Examine the food quality and quantity in various industries/hotels/organization and etc

You must be a graduate in Medicine.
Or
Candidate should have graduate in Science with Chemistry as one of the subject
or

AGE CRITERIA:-

Food Inspector exam is being conducted by Public service commission (PSC).


You need to satisfy the following eligibility criteria set by them:-

You must be a graduate in any field from any recognized University.

You should possess at least 120 hours course with working experience in the use of Personal Computers or Information Technology in office Productivity applications.

(or)

Desktop Publishing Applications from a Govt. recognized institution or a reputed institution which is ISO 9001 certified.

(Or)

A computer Information Technology Course equivalent to ‘O’ level certificate of DOEACC of Govt. of India.

Your age must be between 18 to 35 years.

The Upper age Limit is relaxable upto 5 years for Scheduled Castes/Tribes/Backward Classes.

And upto 10 years for physically handicapped persons.

There are some seats reserved for SC/ST, BC, EX-Servicemen, Handicapped persons, freedom fighter & Sports persons, Categories.

Required qualification:

• You have to write the UPSC entrance exam.
• You have any degree regarding to the BHMCT.
