You should have done CCNA to become a network administrator.
CCNA means Cisco Certified Network Associate
CCNA can be completed in 90 days(3 months) ,one hour/day

Before doing CCNA you will have to do MCSE first, MCSE is of about one month
and after it you can do CCNA

    Best of luck

    Hi there!
If you want to be a network administrator your basic qualification has to be B.Tech in IT(information technology) or CSe(computer science engineering)
After that you have to other certification courses to get preferences from the NETWORKING companies. These certification courses are about 4-6 months of duration. The best one of such is CCNA(CISCO certified network associate) provided by CTTC(central tool room training centre)

You can also go for JETKING networking courses for good job oppertunities.

But you cannot be a network administrator in a company straight a way.you have to be a network associate first, after gaining some 2 years of experience you will be promoted to network administrator.

    All the best........
