CAT (common admission test) exam is a computer adaptive test that has to be cleared by candidates willing to do MBA in the IIMs (Indian Institute for Management Studies), and in some of the other prestigious institutions that would accept CAT scores for admission. Common Admission Test (CAT) is a national level exam organized by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs)

Eligibility criteria for CAT:

Candidate must be a graduate with 50% average grades in his/her bachelors degree.

Candidates appearing in the final year of their Bachelors degree are also eligible providing you would be allotted a seat on qualifying the exam only if you submit the documents that you have completed your Bachelors degree.

There is a relaxation of 5% for SC,ST,DA,PWD.

You can attend the personnel interview and you have to submit letter from your principal or Director saying about your latest grades.You should have a unique phone number and email id during selection process.

CAT Examination Pattern:

This exam is designed to examine three different skills of a candidate.

a) Quantitative skills

b) Verbal skills and

c) Logical and data interpretation skills.

Test comprises of total 60 objective type questions.

Selection Procedure of CAT

It is of two steps in which first step is written test.

Post clearance of written examination you will have to attend personnel interview.
