Definitely you can join the Indian Navel academy.Its good to see your interest towards the Indian force.You had one option to appear in the NDA examination for the Indian Navel academy after your +2.But you had not appeared in this examination previous.SO now you can appear in the CDS examination.CDS examination is conducted by the UPSc.UPSC is responsible for the CDS examination.This examination is done by the UPSC twice in a year as CDS I CDSII.

For appearing in this examination you must have the bachelor degree.So after only successfully completion of your graduation you can be eligible for the CDS examination.Via this examination one can enter in the following Indian forces.

The options available will depend on whether you are a male or a female candidate. For male candidates there are two options to join the Navy. They can opt for the permanent commission under the CDSE scheme. Also they can appear for the exam under the short service commission. The upper age limit is 25 years. For posts like SSC Observer, SSC Pilot the minimum marks required is 60%. Females can join only through the short service commission. They can join Logistics or education area.

as you know all these are the defense services which are to be filled by the young guns of India who are interested in technical or Non Technical field

some of them may get filled by UES(University Entry scheme)
Some of them by TGC
Some of them by SSC(Short Service Commission)

etc.., in this way you can make your career in to these defense services and one more option for you CDS.

Procedure to join Indian navy after completing you B.tech.



To join indian navy you have to fulfill these basic criterias:

1)you should be less than 23 years old.
2)you should be medically sound.
3)You should graduate from recognized univercity or college.
4) You should be unmarried male candidate

after you fulfill these criterias you can then give the following exams to join indian navy:

1.CDS(combined defense service)

2.UES(university entry scheme)

3.SSC(short service commission)

4.EKT(engineering knowledge test)




1)CDSE: it is an exam conducted for graduates by UPSC twice an year and can get more information from :
www.upsc.gov.in

2,3)UES and SSC: these are the exams conducted by indian navy and you can get more information for these enteries from:

4)EKT Through this scheme you have to give a written test ,after completing this stage you will be call for SSB.

After completing your B.E. (electrical), you can join Indian Navy by applying for CDS exam which is conducted by UPSC. The age requirement for this is 19-25 years.
