    After matriculation one can join Indian Army to the post of soldiers in technical trade through written exams like "Indian Army Soldier Clerks Examination", "Indian Army Soldier General Duty (N.E.R) examination", "Indian Army Soldier Technical(M.E.R) examination", "Indian Army Soldier Nursing Assistant (M.E.R) Examination" etc.

    hi friend,

    In order to join Indian Army, you should give NDA Exam.

    NDA stands for National Defence Academy. Every year NDA Exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

    One can join the following Defence services by cracking this exam.
    -Army wing
    -Navy wing
    -Air Force wing

    The selection procedure for this is by
    -Written Exam
    -Interview

    Later on you need to appear for Medical test also.

    As per required academic qualification,

    You should have completed 12th Class with any of the stream to be eligible for Army wing.

    You should have gone through Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects in your 12th Class in order to be eligible to apply for Navy and Air Force wings.

    You should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this exam.

    Dear friend,
    You are not applicable for Indian Army after completing metric exams. If you want to join Indian Army you should at least pass class 12th with 60% marks. After that See the advertisement published by UPSC for NDA in Apr/Sep every year and for 10+2 TES Entry in leading news papers in Nov/Dec and May/June every year. Age limit for these exam is 19 to 23 years.
