    NET stands for National Eligibility test and it is one of the most famous examination for lectureship post and Junior Research fellowship post. But to apply for this examination you need to complete your post year graduate degree course with minimum 55% marks, if any one scored the minimum standard set by UGC, are eligible for NET examination. The examination is conducted in June and December every year, the notification published twice in a year individually.

    If you want to apply for Lectureship then there is no upper age restrictions you can apply many times. But apply for Junior Research Fellowship post, your age should not be more than 28 years. You can apply for both the post if you are less than 28 years.

    Some relaxation is applicable is applicable for reserved category, you can check the official website for details.

    There are three papers in NET Examination and you have to appear for all 3 papers individually. First paper is compulsory and same for all and if you have missed the paper-I then you are not eligible for other two papers.

    You have to choose the subject in NET on the basis of your Post graduation. The list of subject is available in the official website of UGC. The syllabus and previous year papers is also available in the official website of UGC.

    You have to scored passing marks in each one of the paper only then you will be able to cracked the NET Examination. This year December NET Examination was already completed and if you are interested then apply for the Next year June NET Examination. The details you can collect from the official website.

    Hi friend,NET(national eligibility test) is conducted by UGC twice in a year...The candidate with master degree are eligible to apply for NET exam...To apply for NET exam,general and OBC category candidates must have 55% of marks in master degree and sc/st candidates must have 50% of marks in master degree...There is no age limit to apply for NET exam...And there is no restriction to attempt the exam i.e.,the candidates can apper any number of times for NET exam...all the best...

    Uninon Grant Commission Conducts National Elligibity Test (NET ) every year twice .

    NET exam is conducted for :

    Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

    Lecturership Post

    NET exams is conducted in month of June and December .


    * Candidates must have post graduate in any stream like M.sc , MBA , MCA and so on.

    * Appearing in post graduates who waiting for their results can also apply for NET.

    * Candidate Nationality must be Indian.

    * Age for JR is 23 to 28 and for Lecturership no maximum age limit.

    National Elligibity Test ( NET) qualified candidates are get jobs at lecturer post in good universities and collegs.

    NET - National Eligibility Test.
    $ you have complete master degree, are you eligible to apply for NET exam.
    $ OBC candidates 55% of marks got on the master degree.
    $ SC/ST candidates 50% of marks got on master degree.
    $ candidate Nationality must be Indian.
    $ age limit of NET exam apply are 23 - 28.
