->you should start it from the very first year .
->you should have to give the entrance exam conducted by the recognized universities to join the diploma course.
->as you have good marks in 12th with PCM and having 71% marks but i think you should have to go for graduation.
->you should go for B.TECH or B.E not to go for diploma.
->graduation is best for you.
