entry examination. After diploma you can takes admission in the B.Tech course in direct

You have to admit in lateral entry with qualify gelate exam.you have to direct admission in second year.if your rank is so good then you are eligible for govt college otherwise in private college.every college have five seat in each department.

As you completed your diploma, you are now eligible to get admission in B.Tech second year. To get admission in B.Tech Second year you have to give Lateral entry exams.

All universities organized their lateral entry examination. You have to fill appliation forms for lateral entry exam and you have to appear in exam. If you pass that exam you will get admission in second year of B.Tech.

Generally Minimum marks required to appear in lateral entry exam is 60% in diploma. As you scored more than 60% you are eligible for it.

Prepare for lateral entry exam. Exam paper mostly contains question from Physics, chemistry n biology of 10th, 11th and 12th level. It may contain some basic concepts from diploma syllabus. Paper is normally easy.

If you passed lateral entry exam. You have to attend counseling and then you will be allocated some college according to your rank and priority.

step 1: once you get your results you have to apply for the university counseling for the lateral entry admissions
step 2: once you get the application you have to sent back the filled application with an acknowledgment before the dead line along the document copies
step 3: the university will process your application and check for the details correctness
step 4:the university will generate the random number and the rank list according to the community

First of all it is must that the diploma course that you pursued was from a recognized institute. You need to appear for the LEET examination on completing the diploma course. The questions will be basically be related to what you studied in the diploma course. The selection for B.TECH course will be made on the basis of mark obtained in this examination. In some institutes there will be an interview round. You will be attending the B.TECH course from the 2nd Year. The syllabus will be same as that of a regular course. It has to be noted that you can apply for the branch you have studied in diploma for the B.TECH course. So since you are from the computer science background you can opt for this stream in B.Tech.

70% in diploma is a very good percentage to choose computer engineering.
There shall be an entrance exam by your state board. Clearing this exam makes the student to be eligible for the entry to engineering. The rank in the entrance exam assures the college and branch that may be elected in the councelling sessions.

You have not mentioned the trade but although it takes 3 years to complete diploma course ane after that B.TECH can done directly into the 2nd year by scoring high score in LEET test but some seats are reserved by sc and bc.
If you score high then you can easily get admmision in B.TECH and the college you prefer.

You are having good marks in diploma. So, you should try for admission in some good engineering college .after diploma you have to give the Lateral Engineering entrance Exam and if you pass you will get admission directly in B.Tech 2nd year
