A diploma qualification will enable you to apply for B.E/B.Tech course. You can take the lateral entry route. The eligibility criterion for this is a diploma in engineering. Also it is necessary to score 60% marks in diploma level. To get selection for B.E/ B.Tech courses it is essential to appear for lateral entry entrance examination. If you clear this exam, you can apply for engineering courses in any good colleges of your choice. An advantage of lateral entry admission is that you can start your engineering studies from second year of graduation itself.
