    Dear friend,

    CS stands for Company Secretary course. ICSI offer Company Secretary Course in two modes , first through Distance Learning mode and second in oral coaching classes mode. There are three stages in Company Secretary course:-

    1)- Foundation Programme
    2)- Executive Programme
    3)- Professional Programme.

    ==>> FOUNDATION COURSE-

    Eligibility Criteria-

    In order to appear in Foundation course first you have to complete 12th class in any stream from a recognized board.

    Subjects in Foundation Course-

    1. English and Business Communication
    2. Elements of Business Laws and Management
    3. Economics and Statistics
    4. Financial Accounting

    Course Duration: 8 Months

    Fee Structure: Rs. 3,600/-

    ==>>INTERMEDIATE COURSE-

    Eligibility Criteria-

    Those candidates who have completed their Graduation in any stream are eligible to apply for Intermediate course. After completing Foundation course also you can apply for Intermediate course.

    Subjects in Intermediate course-

    1. General and Commercial Laws
    2. Company Accounts
    3. Cost and Management Accounting
    4. Tax Laws
    5. Company Law
    6. Economic and Labour Laws
    7. Securities Laws and Compliances

    Course Duration: 9 months

    Fee Structure: Rs, 7,000/-

    ==>> PROFESSIONAL COURSE-

    Eligibility Criteria-

    Those candidates who have completed Intermediate course are eligible to apply for Professional course.

    Subjects in Professional Course-

    1. Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency
    2. Company Secretarial Practice
    3. Drafting ,Appearances ,Pleading
    4. Strategic Management , Alliances and International Trade
    5. Advanced Tax Laws and Practice
    6. Due Diligence and Corporate Compliance Management
    7. Governance , Business Ethics and Sustainability
    8. Financial , Treasury , Forex Management

    Course Duration
    : 15 months

    Fee Structure: Rs. 7,500/-



    So, as you have completed B.Com course , so you are eligible to apply for Intermediate course directly. You don't need to appear for Foundation course.
