    hi

    the procedure to become a Psychologist in India
    if you want to become a psychologist,you will have to select psychology as a subject in your graduation;then you will have to pursue masters i.e.post graduation in psychology;after that either you go for phd or you can practice under any renowned psychiatrist of your city,or any private clinic or hospital for a year or two;after completion of all these stages you will become a psychologist;in your masters only.there are many areas of specialization in psychology;
    like you can become a child psychologist,clinical,vocational,guidance and counsellor psychologist,industrial psychologist etc.if you wish to pursue phd then you can take any of these areas for specialization but if you ant to practice under a psychiatrist or in private clinics or hospitals,you will have to opt clinical psychology for sure.

    good luck!
