The selection criterion for the post of Sub Inspector is mainly through a written test. The test is conducted by SSC. The notifications regarding the positions vacant will be published in the official website. You can apply accordingly. The minimum eligibility criterion is a graduation. The graduation can be done in any subject area. Also important is that the graduation should be secured from a recognized university or institute. The age limit should be between 21 – 30 years while applying for this post. There is relaxation in case of the age limit for the candidates belonging to the reservation category. SSC is the recruitment body for all the police related jobs and in that the Si Sub inspector recruitment is also one of the recruitment and there are some eligibility criteria which you must follow for appearing to SI recruitment and this is the first step in SI recruitment procedure...
The eligibility required are of...
*Age Limit-
should have attained the age of 20 years and must not exceed the age of 25 years...
there are also age relaxations which are present according to the government notification.
SC/ST--5 years
OB-3 years
Ex-service men OBC-8 years
