Re: What is the procedure to become an IAS officer?

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service. The completion selection procedure which the candidate has to go through to become an IAS officer is by
    -CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test)
    -Civil Services Main Examination
    -Interview

After qualifying in CSAT Exam, the candidate has to appear for Main Exam with the chosen optional subjects.

A mere qualifying in the Main Exam and a good performance in the Interview will confirm you job opportunity in any of the civil services like

This civil services exam is being conducted by UPSC ever year.

So, I suggest you to visit the official website of UPSC for complete information regarding this exam.
