You can continue your studies in either technical field(ME/MTech)
or in buisness administration( MBA course).
You can prepare for GATE examination for admission
to various ME/MTech courses in various institutes across India.
Various courses are offered in civil engineering branches like
Building Technology and Construction Management, Geotechnical Engineering,

You have to first of all decide what your career path should be. For this you need to check out the qualification best suiting it. If you need to make a career in the technical side then you have options like M.Tech, M.E, M.Phil etc. You will first need to appear for the required entrance exam. If you are going for M.E or M.tech then appearing for GATE is one of the options. You will have options like specialising in areas like drilling, environmental engineering etc. Most institutes do consider this score. If you plan to go for M.Phil then you need to check the admission criteria. Normally there will be an entrance exam for this course too. This course is apt for those who wish to make a career in the research field.

Re: What are the PG Courses available for a Civil Engineering Graduate?

    Hello friend,

The above image shows you some of the specializations available in civil engineering for technical streams.

But apart from technical courses, there are many other courses you can pursue after completing your Engineering. Some of then are

    MBA
    M.Tech
    PGDM
    ME
    M.Des
    M.Sc
    MS etc etc.

All these courses are equally good and i just want to insist you to choose the course which you are interested in.So that you will have a bright future.

If you are confused what to do among these courses then my suggestion would be obviously
    MBA or ME/M.Tech.

If you are interested in technical field then you can go for ME/M.Tech or if you have done enough with technical subjects, then MBA will be the obvious choice. Its left to you to choose between MBA and M.Tech

    Eligibility for M.Tech/ME

1.You should have completed Bachelors degree in engineering or technology from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate
2.You should also qualify in the entrance exams like
    GATE
    PGCET
    GRE etc etc

    Eligibility for MBA

1.You should have completed bachelors degree in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized university
2.You should also qualify in the entrance exam like
    CAT
    MAT
    XAT
    KMAT
    GMAT
    SNAP
    ATMA etc etc
    3.There is no age limit
4.You will be given more preference if you have past work experience

    Different specializations available in M.Tech

    Computer Aided Design of Structures

    Computer Aided Design of Structures

    Highway Technology

    Hydraulics

    Structural Engineering

    Transportation Engineering

    Environmental Engineering

    Geo informatics

    Different specializations in MBA

    HRM
    SALES AND MARKETING
    CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
    OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
    FINANAVE
    BANKING
    INSURENCE
    ACCOUNTING
    PHARMA
    HOSPITALITY
    HOTEL MANAGEMENT
    HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT
    HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATION
    INFRASTRUCTURE etc etc.

As you are from civil engineering it will be helpful for you if you choose construction management.
