    You just need to have a graduation degree from a recognized university without any constraint on percentage.
    Candidates who have appeared or intend to appear for the qualifying examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear for the Preliminary Examination. All candidates who qualify to appear for the Civil Services Main Exam must produce proof of having passed the said examination along with their application for the Main Examination.

    Indian Administration Service exam is part of civil service exam.This exam is conducted by UPSC every year once.

    To appear for this exam,
    >>You should have complete graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university with min 55% marks.
    >>And your age should be between 21 to 30 years.
    Age relaxation for sc/st/pd category is 5 years and for obc category is 3 years.

    Important dates for Civil service exam:
    Preliminary exam:
    Issue of application form from 4th Feb 2012 to 5th March 2012.
    Exam will held on 20th May 2012.
    Main Exam:
    Exam will held on 15th Oct 2012.

    If you able to clear Preliminary exam,then only you can appear for Main exam.

    Hello friend,I am giving you the eligibilities to take part in IAS in various fields
    NATIONALITY
    A candidate must be a citizen of India.
    AGE
    He must be in between the age of 21 years to 30 years
    NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS
    The general candidates have 4 attempts while there is no limit for SC/ST candidates but for backward classes 7 attempts are there.
    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
    The person must have graduation degree from any of the recognized universities in India .The candidates appearing for the final exams are also eligible for the pre liminary tests but before joining they need to submit the original documents showing their holding of degree.

    Percentage is not require for this examination.If you are completed graduate degree then your eligible to apply for this examination.

    I.A.S i.e Indian Administrative Service examination and this examination is conducted Once in a year by Union Public Service Commission.This examination can be divided into three parts namely preliminary,main and interview.

    If your interested to apply for Civil service examination then you should have a completed Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized University or deemed university.

    Your age limits for this examination is 21 years and 30 years at the time of appearing for this examination and relaxation is given as per Govt.rules.If your belongs to SC/ST category you have a 5 relaxation,if your belongs to OBC category you have a 3 relaxation,if your belongs to Ex-Servicemen category you have a 5 relaxation.

    Four attempts are given to the General candidates,7 attempts are given to the OBC candidates and No restrictions for SC/ST categories.

    to appear in UPSC examination candidate need to finish the graduation from any recognised university. there is no restriction on percentage required.
    here i am giving eligibility criteria to apply for upsc exams:
    education: any graduate from any recognised university.
    age: 21-30 for general
    age relaxation: 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.
    Nationality: candidate must be a citizen of india.
    Number of attempts:
    4 for general
    7 for bc
    unlimited for sc/st.

    Well if you want to become an IAS officer then you will have to appear for the civil service exam which is conducted by the UPSC.The examination is conducted every year only once and any students who are eligible for the exam can appear for the examination .The examination is conducted in the national level and all graduate students are welcome to appear for the examination .

    The civil service examination is conducted in three phases ::

    1.Preliminary exam ::There is slightly changes in the preliminary exam from last two years .The examination is now called CSAT exam which includes two paper common for all students .There is no optional subjects exam in the preliminary exam .It is common for all students .

    Preliminary examination pattern ::



    2.Main exam ::This examination can be given only of you will clear the preliminary exam.You will have to choose two optional subjects based on your interest .There are total 9 paper in this examination .



    Eligibility for the examination ::

    You must have completed your graduation in any stream from a recognized college.There is no percentage criteria for the examination .
    You will be allowed to appear for the exam only of your age is less then 30 years and you are at least 21 year old.There is some relaxation is given in upper age limit for the reserved caste students.

    33 years is upper age limit for OBC

    Relaxation in No of attempts :: is also given to reserved caste students

    4 for general students
    7 for OBC students
    No limit for SC/ST

    FRIEND,

    For The IAS exam there is no criteria of minimum marks required in the Graduation to be eligible to appear in the CIVIL SERVICES EXAM conducted by UPSC.

    Your age must be between 21 to 30 years and 3 and 5 years of relaxation is given to OBC and SC/ST category candidates respectively.

    You must be an INDIAN CITIZEN.

    You are allowed only 4 attempts if you are from general category and No limit and 7 attempts for the SC/ST and OBC category candidates respectively.

    If you are in the final year of Graduation then also you are eligible to appear in the exams of CIVIL SERVICES.

    THE POSTS THROUGH THE CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATIONS ARE:



    The Selection is conducted in three stages:

    1)CSAT
    2)MAINS
    3)PERSONAL INTERVIEW.

    IAS : Indian Administrative Service

    To become IAS Officer, You have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline form a recognised University and Apply for UPSC Civil services examination. This examination is Conducted by UPSC Every year, Graduation is the Minimum Eligiblity to apply for this examination. There is No Minimum percentage is required in graduation to appear for Civil services examination.

    This examination is Conducted by UPSC in Two stages :

    >> Preliminary examination
    >> Main examination.

    Those who cracked Both these stages are eligible for Final selection Round i.e Personal Interview.

    No percentage is mentioned for IAS examination,
    you need to just complete your graduation in any stream from a recognized university.
    You age should be 21 to maximum 30 years, not more than it.
    Obc and scst has provide some age relaxation .
    For obc 3 years
    for sc/st 5 years.

    First you can appear for Civil Examination

    IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service which is conducted by UGC.


    Any degree holder (or degree final year students who can get the degree by July of the exam year) from any recognized University in any discipline with any percentage is eligible.

    There is no percentage barrier for this exam. Any graduate student whose marks is greater than the passing marks is eligible for IAS exam.

    Age of the candidate should be between 21-30 years for general candidate.
