    my friend,
MA is the master degree in arts.there is no percentage is decided to get admission in MA.
But you can admission in MA on base on aggregate percentage in BA.
you can get admission in MA if you have 50 % aggregate in BA.you can also get admission below this percentage, but then you can get admission in lower quality college.
If you have above 50% percentage then it is better in you because you will get admission in good college.
    best of luck..........

    hi friend..

The study of M.A is in great demand among the students of the country. it gives you a strong grounding in the teaching and learning of English as a second or foreign language.
You should hold a 10 and 10+2 certificate from any recognized board of the country with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.
After the completion of M.A you can get well paid jobs in colleges and universities. They can also apply for jobs in private as well as in government sectors.

    BEST PLACES TO PURSUE :
    Calcutta University,
    Delhi University,
    Benaras Hindu University.

Re: What percentage is required for doing MA?

There is no such prescribed percentage which can be said to be a standard percentage that should be obtained by a candidate in order to appear for the Masters examination.
But this thing should be considered that many of the leading universities of India conduct an entrance examination for giving admission to students in post graduate courses.
And for appearing in these entrance examinations, the students need to obtain a certain minimum percentage which is prescribed by the concerned board or authority.

And that percentage that should be obtained by a student in order to appear for such examinations varies from one university to other university.
For example- For Delhi university this percentage is between 50% to 55% percent for most of the post graduation courses.
So, now you must have got an idea that what percentage must be obtained by an individual in order to appear for such entrance examinations for pursuing post graduation
courses. This percentage generally ranges from 50% to 60%.

Dear friend, you can go for MA for any score (if passed) in BA. However, you can also complete your MA from the same university from where you have completed your BA because they might give some % relaxation if you are completing your MA from the same university.

thank you and all the best !

    Hello,

The requisite percentile actually do depend on the university that you wish to apply. The minimum aggregate will be around 85% for profoundly popular universities and then declines gradually. Do choose a college with more average aggregate percentile of admitted students because : The better your friends are, The better you will get.
