Arrow Re: What percentage is required in 12th in order to do B.Tech in CSE?

    Ans:

** Filling of B.tech admissions is not same for every state

** In some states like A.P will conduct entrance exam like EAMCET and based on performance on that exam and also on the performance of 12th marks will be considered to fill the B.Tech admissions

**Here the weight-age for EAMCET 80% and weight-age for 12th marks is 20%

** In 12th if you can score more than 85% marks then it is quite beneficial to you

** In some states only based on 12th marks vacancies will be filled

** So in that case who has more will be proffered first to fill he vacancies

** If the marks are tied then they will see MATHS marks first, even again tie they'll see PHYSICS marks, even again tie consider CHEMISTRY

** There is no particular requirement of marks in 12th for CSE

** All beaches have equal qualification requirements

Re: What percentage is required in 12th in order to do B.Tech in CSE?

    hi dear,
AICTE has made it mandatory that candidates having minimum 45% in PCM(physics, chemistry, mathematics) at 10+2 level irrespective of which branch he or she is willing to get into in b.tech.
    (this is for general candidates).
for st or sc candidates it is 40%.

some entrance examination does provide weightage to 10+2 percentage.
    best of luck..........

To admission in the B.Tech course you need to appear in the engineering entrance examination like IIT JEE, AIEEE, WBJEE, ORJEE, KIITEE, VITEEE.............etc. There are no need of percentage in the 12th class for the admission in the B.Tech course.

If you have 60% or above marks in the 12th class then you are eligible for the all engineering entrance examination. IIT JEE and AIEEE is the most famous engineering entrance examination which is conducted once in every year.

So, do preparation well for the engineering entrance examination and get a good ranks in the examination then you can get a good branch in the engineering course. Wish you will get success in the entrance examination.

    HI:
YOU should have to require 50% in 12th if you are of GENERAL category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.
for engineering you should have to Qualify Either AIEEE or state level pre engineering exam
you may also go for IIT which is having eligibility criteria of 60%.

    Age:

Aspirants aged between 17 25 years can only apply for the AIEEE. There is five years age relaxation for the SC, ST and PH candidates

for AIEEE you should have to apply online:

for that you can log on to
    www.aieee.nic.in

    good luck

see you just need 60% for sitting in the entrance exam and there is a relaxation for SC/ST/OBC of 5 %...so all you need is to score 60 % or more in 12th cbse and then give the entrance exam and then depending on your rank you can get CSE branch...for getting admission in a reputed clg you need to have atleast rank below 50,000...you can also get admision in any state clg where rank criteria is some what less....you can also go in managment quota where you have to pay a large amount....

    HEY,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

The bachelor of technology is a four year course and has yearly intake of students
there are a lot of institutions offering this programme and hence you need not worry about your marks
Firstly i must say that the admission criteria may differ from state to state but the eligibility criteria is almost the same

    eligibility:
    >You must be above 18 years of age.
    >Must specialise in MPC in your intermediate
    >Must write one of the following exams
    AIEEE
    IIT-JEE
    EAMCET
    KCET
    Etc

So it is not that mandatory to have a good percentage but see that you have anything above 70% to enhance your chance

    GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!111

Re: What percentage is required in 12th in order to do B.Tech in CSE?

If you want to pursue engineering course in any stream after your 12th then you
have to appear in various engineering entrance examinations. Admission to various
engineering courses across India are given on the basis of the rank secured in
engineering entrance examination. Hence your 12th standard percentage or marks
never play a direct role in admission. However exception to this is examinations like
Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission test(BITSAT) where direct admissions
are granted to various Board examination Toppers.

So you need to appear for various engineering entrance examinations like Indian
Institute of Technology - Joint entrance examination (IIT- JEE ), All India Engineering
/ Architecture Entrance Examination (AIEEE) and other statewise engineering exams like
    RPET, KCET, UPCET etc.

    Eligibility for IIT- JEE:-

Out of these on the basis of IIT- JEE , you can get admissions in the fifteen prestigious
India Institute of Technology (IIT) and Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi and the
Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad.Eligibility for IIT- JEE is that you must have passesd
12 th standard with atleast 60% aggregate percentage in case of General category and atleast
55% in case of SC/ST category. You must be below 25 years of age in case you are a General
category candidate. In case of SC/ST candadate , they must not exceed 30 years of age.

    Eligibility for AIEEE :-

The AIEEE entrance examination is held for admission to B.E/B.TECH as well as B.ARCH/
    B. PLANNING courses. For admission to B.E/B.TECH courses you must have studied Physics
& Mathematics as compulsary subjects in 12 th with any one of Chemistry, Bio-technology,
Computer Science or Biology as optional subjects. The age eligibility criterion is same as
IIT-JEE. You must be below 25 years of age in case you are a General
category candidate. In case belonging to SC/ST category , you must not exceed 30 years of age.

AIEEE examination is held every year for admissions to various National Institute of Technolgy(NIT),
Regional Engineering College(REC), Indian Institutes of Information Technology(IIIT) and other
    Central Government/State Government Funded Institutions.

In addition to the above stated other Self Financed Deemed Universities like Amity School of Engineering
also accept AIEEE scores. So in a nutshell try to score above 60% marks for eligibilty for appearing
in these engineering entrance exams.Next step will be to gear yourself and put a lot of hard work
    for succeeding in the same.

Re: What percentage is required in 12th in order to do B.Tech in CSE?

    Dear aspirant,

--> If you want to do Computer Science and Engineering in future, then firstly you will have to pass 10+2 from a recognized Board.

--> Computer Science and Engineering has very good scope from many years.

--> During Placements, students are awarded with heavy salary packages every year (about 5-6 lakhs per annum).

--> So, CSE is the best choice for you to do B.Tech Course from it.

--> If you do B.Tech from a good college like IITs, NITs, IIITs, or any other Deemed University, then your placement will be surely good.

--> For getting admission in these prestigious colleges, you will have to crack JEE Mains Exam, JEE Advanced Exam (after qualifying Mains Exam), etc.

--> If you qualify these exams with good ranks, then you can get admission in above mentioned institutes.

--> However, there are also some other Private Universities like BITS, SRM, LPU, VIT, etc.

--> These universities conduct their entrance examinations.
