Re: What percentage is required in 12th class subjects to get a Medical college admission?

It requires one to have at least 50% of marks in the 12th class to apply for the Medical college admission. You need to study Physics, chemistry and biology as the main subject in the 12th class. If you have scored around 50% of marks in the 12th class you can apply for the medical entrance examination. The basis of selection is through the Medical entrance examination. It is an All India examination which is conducted. The government has announced that there will be only one entrance exam from 2012. If you score well in the medical entrance examination you can apply to the various colleges for the MBBS score.

Re: What percentage is required in 12th class subjects to get a Medical college admission?

If you have at least 49 percent then you can get admission privately in medical colleges. But if you want to take your sit straight forward then you have to give entrance exams like aiims and so on. IF you book then you can choose your streams. But not sure if you get to a medical college you can select your wished stream or not.
