The persons who score above 90% can do better studies. But even if your score is little bit less then also you become a good doctor. The only short cut for that is hard work and prayer.

Thumbs up Re: What percentage is required in 12th to become a Doctor?

    Hello friend....
To become a doctor you should have atleast of about 60%....
For entering into MBBS or geting seat for medical depends on you knowledge in your core subjects like Biology,Physics,chemistry,zoology...
There are some common enter exams for getting enter into the medical college,like...
    AIIMS
    EAMCET
    RPMT
    AFMC
    VIT...etc
by qualifying these exams and securing good marks and percentage then you can get a chance to enter into the medical field....
you should get minimum of 1000 rank below for the OC students to get enter into the medical field...
and for other backward castes like bc's you can get below 2000 and for sc/st you can get below 5000 rank...
It mainly depends on the competition of the current year you are applying...

    Hi ,

To become a doctor , you first have to Secure atleast 50% in 10+2 (Medical stream ) to be eligible for MBBS entrance Examination , then You have to crack MBBS Examination then based on your rank you will get respective college where you will study for atleast 5 1/2 years . Last one year is for Intership.

In high school, it is essential that you excel in the following subjects:
    • Mathematics
    • Science (physics and chemistry)
    • Biology.

There is going to be only one Medical Entrance Examination NEET for almost every college in India Except for AFMC and AIIMs for which separate Examination will be Held .

    HIII
Actually hte pattern for getting seat in mbbs is changed it is not directly related to the marks in 12th,you have to attempt Eamcet exam and the marks you scored in IP and as well as in eamcet are calculated.they take 25% weightage in IP and allot you the rank.according to that ramk you will get seat in respective disciplines.to get into mmbs you have to get very less rank its better to be in below 1000

    Dear friend,

=> You must have a good percentage like above 65% to become a doctor..
=> You must have completed B.P.C(Biology, Physics, Chemistry) from intermediate..
=> Not only the percentage, you must also have good knowledge about each and every topic to become a doctor..
=> After completing intermediate in B.P.C, You need o attend the entrance exam for M.B.B.S..like E.A.M.C.E.T etc..
=> If you score good rank in the entrance exam, you can easily get placed in a M.B.B.S college..
=> So friend, prepare well for the exam and do well..

    Best of luck..
