    The paper pattern for BHEL entrance exams are -

    There are 240 questions in the paper and out of 240 120 are Technical and other 120 are Aptitude & General English questions.

    There is a negative marking of 1/5th mark for each wrong answer. Five options are given for each question of which only one is correct.

    And you should complete the paper within 150 minutes.

    BHEL test pattern:
    There are two sections in BHEL test.
    1) Aptitude Test
    2) Technical Test
    Here there are total 240 questions in which 120 questions are for aptitude and remaining 120 for technical

    Educational qualifications:

    Candidates are required to have Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline from an institute recognized by AICTE with minimum 60% marks. 10% relaxation in marks is given to SC/ST candidates.

    The syllabus for this entrance exam will be upon ur profession. Suppose if ur pursuing ur b-tech in Mech engg then u wil be preferred with respect to that syllabus and mostly concentrate on aptitude questions so that u can score more

    Eligibility & Qualifications

    Educational Qualifications
    Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/Technology (4 years after 10+2) / or Five year integrated Master’s degree or Dual Degree programme in Engineering or Technology in the disciplines of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering.

    HOW TO APPLY:
    if you are interested to do the job in BHEL then firstly you must have to give the GATE entrance test. after the fill up the form of gate you must have to registration in BHEL recruitment website http://careers.bhel.in .
    BHEL will have to use the marks of GATE entrance test and on the abse of marks you have to call for personal interview for considering the posion of trainees engineering.

    exam pattern:
    two parts:
    part1: 120 question of technical
    part2: 120 question of aptitude and general knowledge

    The last for registering online is 21st September 2012. The last date for receipt of acknowledgement slips is 28th September 2009.

    Date of written test is 31st October 2012 for supervisor trainees and 1st November for engineer trainees.

    Exam Pattern of BHEL

    Exam of BHEL consist of written exam and Interview.

    Written exam has two parts in it -- Aptitude Test & Technical Test.

    > Aptitude test covers these areas in paper - Quantitative Aptitude,Reasonong Ability,
    Logical reasoning, English and General Awarness.

    > Technical test covers the question of general engineering.

    > Written exam is based on objective question.Duration of exam is 150 minutes.
    Negative marking of 0.2 marks will be there in exam paper for every wrong answer.

    Bharat heavy electricals limited(BHEL),Is one of the most reputed public sector companies in the country. There is a written test conducted for recruitment in BHEL,and it consists of 240 multiple choice objective type questions.These questions are designed to test the candidates technical knowledge of chosen engineering discipline and Higher aptitude areas like Quantitative aptitude,reasoning ability,logical thinking,english,general awareness,etc.
    you will have to complete this test in 2hours and 30 minutes.

    BHEL stands for Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited ,it is one of the largest engineering & technology company of the country.

    BHEL Entrance Test Exam Pattern is done by a written test followed by interview.

    There are 240 objective questions divided in 2 sections.

    First section contains Aptitude Test where questions are based on quantitative aptitude, logical thinking, reasoning ability, English language & general awareness.

    Second Section consistes of Technical Test where it is divided into 2 parts-

    General Engineering questions & Questions related to specific discipline which is selected from categories like Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

    And then if you are short listed ten you will be called for the interview section.
