Re: What options do I have after 10th standard?

Since you are clear that you are not comfortable in Maths you must certainly choose a stream where you will not need to pursue the same. You have mentioned that you are comfortable in Science. So you must first check for the the options that you have. MBBS is one of the common choices. You can also go in for BAMS, BHMS, BDS. If you are not keen on these you also have the option to go in for Nursing, being a lab technician etc. These are the common fields in the science stream. Now a days there are options like going in for Biochemistry, Bioinformatics etc. After this you will be able to go into the teaching or the research field. Other than these you do have options to go in for B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry etc. If you choose to pursue a B.Sc course then it is advisable for you to continue studies i.e. pursue M.Sc. To begin with take science stream in 12th standard and in the mean time decide what you should pursue thereafter.

Re: What options do I have after 10th standard?

As you are a matriculate, better pursue the intermediate course in your area of interest. Both Science and Commerce are good streams, which have ample scope. You can study the +2 course in any of these streams. Knowledge in Mathematics is a pre-requisite aspect for studying most of the higher education courses and also for clearing competitive examinations. Since you are weak at Mathematics, better go for coaching in the subject from any good coaching centers or from private tutors. You have ample time to prepare yourself in Mathematics. Think and decide what you want to be. Then study the course so as to become the same.

Well as you are saying that you want to study science but you do not want to study maths .Do not worry its not a big deal you can opt biology as a subject with physics and chemistry. There is no need to study maths. If you have biology as subjects in class 12th then there are many career opportunity for you in future which can help you to get good jobs and you can earn very good money .

    CAREER IN BIOLOGY ::

MBBS: After completing your class 12th you can apply fro various exams like PMT ,AIIMS which can help you to get admission to good colleges and then you can pursue MBBS from these colleges which can help you to become doctor in future.

B.TECH BIOTECH :: You can also apply for this course this is one of the booming field in INDIA and there is many prospects if you do this course .

B.SC BIOTECH ::Again this is for biology students

You can also go in for BAMS, BHMS, BDS.

Career option after 10th Std. :

There are a lots of option are available for the 10th passed student. If you are not interest in math then you can take biology subject.
You can also take commerce or arts stream. If you are interest in science stream then i advise you to take physics, chemistry and Biology.
After completing 12th std. with PCB stream, you can take admission in the MBBS course. I think this course is the best for you. Another
option is also available for you. If you are not interested in these courses then you can take admission in the diploma courses or in ITI course.

as u said your math is not so good.....but the main point is you have interest in science.....i think u have a fear about maths but there is still some option where a little bit of maths is used for example u can select commerce or if u r interested in bio then as in first reply said u can make ur carrier in medical (MBBS etc.).
    ..........but........
i want to suggest u something personally......i'm software engineering student placed at HCL technology 10 days ago , i'm also have fear about maths till now but......but i'm doing what i want. you have to make urself confident that maths is not so hard or difficult.......u have to do some extra work to understand maths........otherwise all other options are open to u as commerce,B.Sc,MBBS.........etc...........be confident and be prepare..........all the best...........

To begin you have to choice science, arts, commerce which are general field which you have to opt. for one and pursue it in standard 11 and 12. But you said that you are interested in science but not good in math so you can opt. for biological science which have a very good career prospet. You can choice field in research area which are in demand in todayís world. But I would advice you to go for the area which interest you the most and which you belived you have the capability and can do the best. Wishing you all the best.

you can go for various other streams like in computer, medical (biology),it also depends on your board / university,. In cbse you can get hindi/sanskrit instead for math ,,after that you can choose your stream ie. in computer or in medical..But remember you can ot apply for any engineering field without maths. Better option is look for Biotechnology, medical or teaching profetion.best of luck.

science means Physical Science or Biological Science?
if Physical Science is interested then we join in M.P.C,
if Biological is interested then we join in Bi.P.C.
But M.P.C is meany opportunities in future life.

Re: What options do I have after 10th standard?

hi.u have a lot of options:
1)first and primary option is join BiPC and go for MBBS.This is the best option i suggest for u.bcoz,doctor-patient ratio is very low in india.so u can easily get through and be helpful also.
2)if u r not interested in mbbs, then after doin Bipc u can do b.pharm followed by M.Pharm.u have lot of research options following this.
3)also u can do b.tech biotechnology after bipc which is quiet booming these days.many famous engg colleges are offering this.
4)or u can do BZC after bipc and u can become a bot/zoology lecturer in corporate sector.u ll be paid a lot.coz nw a days their count is very less.
5)if u r nt at all interested in bipc then u do CEC/HEC/MEC and following that u do B.A. and then try for state public service commission and u will rest with ultimate power and u can serve a lot
6)or u through the same route u can also try for UPSC AND REACH FURTHER HEIGHTS.
I WISH U ALL THE BEST.think twice bfore u act.

Re: What options do I have after 10th standard?

If you are not good in MAths there is nothing to worry.

Only Maths is not the subject which makes science, yeah but its a vital part of Science.

But even without Maths one can study science.

In +2 science is of two types.

    1) Pure Science:- It contains subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and MAthematics. Maths is what makes it Pure. Famously pronounced as PCM.
It is generally opted by students aiming to study Engineering or want to persue career in space science and defence.

    2) Impure Science:- It contains subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Biology is what makes it impure. Famously pronounced as PCB.
It is generally opted by students aiming to study Medical or want to persue career in biotechnology, nanotechnology etc.

So, the main thing is that whats you intrest is......!

What type of career you want to explore Engineering side or Medical and related.

If you are not interested in Maths and you are interested in science, then please dont worry, you can opt Physics, Chemistry and Biology in your 12th class. And after completing 12th you can go with medical courses like MBBS, BAMS, Pharmacy and you can also choose Biotech, Bioinformatics and Forensic sciences after completing your 12th examination. So please dont worry, there are very wide career opportunity after choosing PCB in 12th. You can also opt B.sc And after that you can do M.sc Course, So if you are not interested in Maths, then please opt PCB in your 12th and make your future bright in Medical field.

After 10th you can take either maths or biology. In maths you have three subjects physics, chemistry, maths mainly so you have to focus mainly on maths and in bio you have physics, chemistry and biology. If you are doing engineering or go to any technical field after 12th so i recommend you to choose maths field and if you want to do M.B.B.S. then take bio field. Commerce is also a good subject to choose after 10th because after this you do chartered accountant course which is also a good carrier.

So many options are there after 10th.you can choose any stream but you must be carefull about choosing the one.lf you are interested in Maths then you must proceed with it because later in life you will be satisfied that what you choosen is of your own interest.Nothing is impossible to do, if your maths is weak then do work hard on it.Basics are important don't leave any problem unsolved until you complete your all efforts. But the choice is your there are other subjects also which may lead you.

since u know u like science but u re not good at maths u definitely opt for 12th science. And there are various options where ur interest in maths would not be hindrance like medical and paramedical fileds.. there are some colleges in maharastra where u get an option where instead of maths you can take fishery or agriculture as an alternative. However i would advise you to take maths in 12th who knows you may start liking it. also in Science dont restrict yourself to MBBS you can explore various options like research, biotechnology, zoology or botany and if you interested in computers then go for BCA.

Re: What options do I have after 10th standard?

If your interested in Science but your not interested towards the Mathematics stream then it will be better that you go through the Bi.P.C(Biology,Physics,Chemistry) stream. If your interested towards MBBS,BDS,Pharmacy and other such courses then Bi.P.C will be a better option.
You even got other options like going through commerce stream and complete your B.Com or M.Com.

If you want to see yourself as an Engineering you got to have basic fundamentals of Mathematic topics like Integration,Derivation,Laplace Transforms. You have two ways to see yourself as an Engineer going through the M.P.C stream else going through diploma course.

In polytechnic course you will have a maximum of two or three subjects related to mathematics in the entire three year course and later going through Engineering.

But one thing you need to remember is that you will have to apply Mathematics even in diploma in each of your core subjects if you choose Electronics and Tele-communication,Electrical and Electronics,Mechanical and other such similar streams.Hence fundamentals are must and should if you wish to go through the Engineering stream.

As it is cleared that you have interest in science but the problem is that you are not gud in maths from my point of view you can take PCB in 11th class i.e. Physics,Chemistry and Boilogy as you have many options after 12th you can appear for the CPMT examination for becoming a doctor or you can do Bsc in biotechnology after completing your biotechnology you can appear for GATE exm for doing mtech frm the colleges that are offering as there are many options available to you. So decide with which option you wanna to go and plz tell me whether you have an interest in becoming an engineer or not?

to have interest in the science subject is a good thing. but being not good at maths is that you are afraid of solving maths. just think positively and yet if you don't get any idea or interest in maths then leave the maths stream temporarily. because even though if you are in a medical or science stream you will have to know maths. it is a compulsory subject. so i prefer you to join in the medical stream. you have to remember one thing that maths won't leave you. so better fight with maths the next two years of your intermediate. have a great future.

If you want to make your career in medical or engineering line, you should choose science subject after 10th or 9th class. Guidance is very important, you must consult with your elders, teachers, parents at this stage that what you want to be in future and what subjects you need to have at that time.

Most of the students are not aware of future career options and select steam at 10th and 9th level without consulting with parents. As per the studentís mentality, Arts is considered the low grade subject, commerce as medium and science as high grade subject, so most of the students go with commerce stream.

millons of thing you can opt for...even if you are not much in favour of maths still you can go for million of things. you can go for medical stream. less cumbersome with maths is required there. but in my suggestion work on your maths because its integral part in every stream whatever you opt for.

as u said you are not very comfortable with maths, you can choose stream having physics, chemistry and biology.with all these subjects you will be eligible for entrance exams for MBBS,BDS,BAMS,BHMS,B.PT,NURSING--if you passed out 12th class with minimum of 50% marks.otherwise after 12th exams you can opt for college where you can go for B.sc in physics, chemistry, zoology, botany.one more interesting stream is biochemistry,it is very upcoming branch and have very good future prospective. other way you can opt for veterinary entrance exam.now a days clinical research programs are very promising and are with good future .main institute is Indian clinical research institute in Delhi.in this you can do part time research job and can earn.
