Since you are working in the accounts field it is assumed that you pursued graduation in commerce stream. In that case you have the option for higher studies or changing jobs. If you wish to continue in the same stream then you have the option to go in for M.Com. After that you can either go into the teaching field. Also you have the option to go in for various certified course like CA, CFA etc. You also have an option to go in for an MBA. If you wish to change streams then you can go in for MCA too. If you wish to continue working you can apply for Bank PO test. Also there is an option to go in for Civil Service too. Take a decision based on where your strengths lie.

Selecting a particular sector will depend up on the candidate’s education qualification and personnel interest to work in that sector. As you are working in the Accounting field, you might be a B.Com graduate. If so, then there are many options available for you to pursue a solid career path. It sounds like you would like to stick to the same sector and grow in the same. There are many higher degree courses which you can do to climb up the ladder really fast. CA, ICWA are two of the most popular and in- demand courses which you can pursue. You can also take up M.Com. This is a 2 year long post graduation course. With a graduation you can also look for better job perspective in the similar field. Banking sector and other financial institution recruit candidates with graduation to various posts. You can also appear in the IAS exam if that fits in your career plan.
