The ITI course is not considered equivalent to the diploma course. Normally a diploma course should be for 3 years. Only then will you be eligible for the lateral entry scheme. It is important that you pursue the diploma course after this. If possible after that take up engineering too. You need to make sure that the course is from recognised institute. It is only then your aspirations can be fulfilled. You also go in for 12th standard course. After this B.Sc too is an option available. You need to take the decision on what you feel is best for you.

As you have studied ITI course in Electrical trade, so many options are available for you. If you are interested in higher studies, you can pursue the Diploma course in Electrical trade. It may help you to gain more subject knowledge in the concerned areas. In addition, you can apply for better jobs in reputed companies also. Having an ITI Certificate, you can apply for Government sector jobs. Practice the habit of reading employment dailies so as to know about the vacancies in public sector. Another option that you can opt for is to start an Electrical shop. If you are not financially sound to start the same, you can apply for loans in Government banks. As you are currently working as an Electrician, gain more practical experience so as to be familiar about all electrical works. With experience in the concerned areas, you can earn quite more income.

I think after diploma you are placed in company but you will get low salary so i advised you now you can go with lateral entry Scheme for doing further education i.e. BTech.
You can try for Baddi Univ. which is good for taking admission through lateral entry Scheme.

    hii

the options available after diploma in electrical
the best course to do after the completion if diploma is to complete your engineering,
because if you don't complete your graduation then you will not be eligible for any competitive exams for officers post in government organizations,'
you can not write exams like ias or ies,
you can complete your engineering by taking lateral entry directly into second year of engineering,
there are many colleges offering this provision
    like andhra university,
    jntu
    thapar university
    anna university
you can also complete your graduation by doing correspondence degree also

    good luck
