    Well mine friend, first of all i will like to clear that there's no exam in India named as IAS.

    It's exactly called Civil services. This famous examination is many students dream's to complete and become a nice officer in Indian Government.

    This examination is conducted by UPSC aka Union public service Commission, which conducts many examinations.

    Eligibility Criteria for Civil services :

    >> You must have done Graduation from any Recongnised University .

    >> You must have age Requirements like this :

    Minimum age : 21 Years
    Maximum Age : 30 Years

    Relaxations for OBC : 3 Yrs in Maximum Age
    Relaxations for SC/ST : 5 Yrs in Maximum age.

    >> Maximum Number of allowed for any candidate goes as :
    General : 4
    OBC : 7
    SC/ST : No limit.

    >> You must be Indian Citizen to appear in examination, or otherwise satisfy the rules of UPSC.

    IAS exam is conducted by UPSC through Civil Service Exam so if you want to go for IAS exam , you can attend to CSAT exam.

    Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for IAS exam.


    But your age should be in between 22 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.


    The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.Also you must be in citizen in India.

    IAS is an Indian Administrative service which comes under civil services and it is conducted by UPSC i.e., Union Public Service Commission.It is the most toughest job and it is not that you can not go through it.It is the most prestigious one in our country in which you can serve the country.

    Now coming to the eligibility criteria in this exam is that:
    You need to complete your graduation even if you are appearing for your final year exam also you can apply for the same.

    Indian Administration Service exam is taken by the UPSC.This exam is conducted every year.For applying in this exam you need yo have a bachelor degree.You have to complete your graduation from a recognized university with good percentile.This exams completed in the following three stages:

    Dear friend,
    If you want to do IAS then you have to appear for CSAT exam,conducted by UPSC every year to select IPS,IAS,IFS officers.

    As you have not done intermediate then it will be easy for you.


    First of all i want to tell you that it does not matter which subjects you have studied in intermediate and graduation.

    You just need to have graduation degree in any stream.

    First my advise to you is that you should take subjects in 12th and graduation which you like and you can choose as optional subjects in CSAt exam.


    Pattern of CSAT exam:

    The CSAT has two compulsory Papers of 200 marks each and of two hours duration each. All questions are of objective type. The marks scored in the CSAT are used for determining qualified candidates for the Civil Services (Mains) Exam only. The CSAT score (marks) will not be carries to the next stage (Civil Services Mains Exam)

    And last round will be interview,it is not an elimination round.

    Papers I tests the General Awaress.

    Paper II tests Logical Resoning skills/Decision making skills/problem solving skills/Communication skills/mental ability/analytical ability/Comprehension skills/numerical aptitude/Data interpretation/English Language Comprehension skills.



    Syllabus for CSAT

    IAS is conducted every year by UPSC every year in the month of May.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION REQUIRED IS:
    Candidate should be graduate and can be in the final year but have to produce documents at the prescribed date.

    IAS Exam Selection Procedure: Entrance is divided into 3 parts :

    Written Test (Preliminary Exam and Main Exam), Personality Interview

    NOTE: Only Students who qualified preliminary exam will appear in Main exam and students who qualify the main exam will have to appear for personality interview.

    IAS Preliminary Exam:

    You must be a citizen of India.

    Age limits:
    You must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination.
    The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases as mentioned below:

    It is very good to become an IAS officer but it requires a very hard work to crack it.Indian Administrative services (IAS) is a civile service and to become IAS one have to give test conducted by UPSC every year.
    Every year lot of IAS aspirants apply for same but only few qualifiy it because IAS exam is considered to be as a one of the toughest exam in our country.
    Following are the tests conducted for IAS aspirants:-

    >CSAT
    >Written exam
    >Interivew test

    Candidates are required to qulaify all the tests conducted by upsc for ias exam.If however a candidate failed in any test will not be eligible to become an IAS in future, so every test have to pass.To be eligible for interview test candidate have to pass written exam.nterview letter will be sent to the qualified candidates.

    8. Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science and Medical Science
    9. Any two branches of engineering.

    The full form of IAS is Indian Administrative Services. It is a civil service exam conducted by UPSC.
    Eligibility:
    -You should be a Graduate in any discipline.
    -Age limit is 21 to 30years.
    -No percentage criteria is required in 10th,12th and Graduation.
    -A relaxation of 3 and 5 years is given to BC and Sc/St Categories.
    -Number of attempts for open category is 4 times, 7 times for OBC, no limit for SC & ST.
