Re: What are the new rules of CA course?

ICAI has specified new rules in CA course. As per the new rule, 12th class pass students in vocational subjects can also enroll for CA course. Earlier, candidates who cleared CPT were only allowed for CA IPCC. The new rule gives exemption to graduates from attending CPT. As per the new rule, graduates or PG holders can straight away enroll for CA IPCC. 55% marks is necessary for commerce graduates. Other graduates the percentage of marks is 60%. On qualifying this level along with practical training programs final CA course can be attended.

But the CPT Results are normally announced in the next month of conducting the Exam.

Second Rule is " CPT Exemption for Graduates " :

Third Rule is " Commencement of Articleship for CPT Exempt Students " :

Graduates availing CPT Exemption can start their Articleship immediately on registration without the requirement of clearing CA Inter ICWAI/ ICSI.

Intermediate cleared students availing of CPT Exemption can start their articleship only on clearing CA Inter Exams.

Such class of candidates are only exempt from CPT and are required to clear CA Inter Group I Exams before starting their Articleship

And Registration Fees for CA Inter :
