    What are my chances to get admission in NIT if expecting to score 20-22 marks in GATE (EC)? I belong to SC community

    sir,i am expecting 20-22 marks in gate 2013 and i am from ece branch and belongs to sc community.what are my chances to get admission in nit?will i get a call for interview from various psu's recruiting through gate 2013 where i have applied.thank you.please reply.

    with this marks you will be able to apply for IITs. but in IIT they take one interview before the admission. interview carry 30% and GATE score carry 70%. now if you are able to give good interview then there is a chance to take admission in IIT. otherwise easily you may take admission in other good government institution with this marks
    you may expect your score will be around 500 out of thousand if you got 25 marks. obviously you will clear cut off marks if you got 25marks in GATE from SC category.
    but you wont be having any chance to join in any psu because they consider up to 30% only reservation remaining gate score 70%.

    sir...my gate 2013 marks r 36.....frm ece branch.....belng to sc categry.....is there any chances ..for psus,iits ,nits..???

    i got 20 marks and gate score is 236 and my AIR is 30555..i belong to sc category from mechanical stream.....will i get any NITS?????
