    What are the minimum required marks to get qualified in SBI Clerical written test? Suggest some books/Magazines for General awareness with special reference to banking?

    hello sir,
    please tell me what is the minimum marks to qualify the sbi clerical written test and kindly suggest some books or magazines for general awareness with special reference to banking.

    Hello Friend,

    The SBI Clerical Entrance is organized by the Department of Central Recruitment and Promotion of the SBI for the recruitment of Indian citizens into the Clerical Cadre posts.

    The Eligibility Conditions For A Bank Clerk Exam:


    Educational Qualification:

    >>You must have secured a minimum of 60 % marks in your final exams (55 percent for the reserved
    categories).
    >>If you have passed diploma course after your matriculation are also eligible to apply.
    >>You are required to have a minimum of 60 percent marks in the class X exam.
    >>Graduates of any background can also apply for this exam (40% marks for general
    candidates and 35 percent for candidates of the reserved categories/ex- servicemen).

    Exam Pattern:

    >>Reasoning
    >>Quantitative Aptitude
    >>General Awareness
    >>General English
    >>Computer Knowledge

    You should have to secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the categories of the written exam to get through the written test.

    Age Limit:

    The Age must be atleast 18 years also must not be above 28 years .

    SBI BANK:



    SBI conducts the exam for the post of the probationary officers. exam will be held two times in the year september and october.

    eligibility for SBI exam:
    1.you must be graduate in any stream with atleast 65% marks.but for reserved category minimum marks 60 %.
    2.age 21 to 30 years.
    3.you must be indian citizen.

    SBI written exam pattern:


    after the successful written test call for the group discussuion and interview.

    R.S agerwal verbal and non-verbal reasoning
    quanitative aptitude of r.s agerwal

    Those candidate have completed 12th standard with above 60% are applicable for SBI CLERK exam.If you have completed Graduation degree then you are applicable for SBI CLERK Exam.

    Marks relaxation is provide for SC/ST/PH category.

    Your age should be in between 18 to 28 years old.Age relaxation is provide for Reserved category.

    1.You must be Indian
    2. Your age should be 20-25 years
    3. You have passed the Higher Secondary Exam from a recognized Board with 60%.
    4. There is Relaxation in age for reserved category.

    dear SBI clerical was advertised for the two recruitment of clerical jobs in 2012 as you want to know the details regarding the percentage in your qualification to qualify for the clerical post exam.please follow this information below to clarify your doubts.
    there are two categories for vacancies in the SBI
    for regular categories you have 600 nos of post.
    special categories you have 65 nos of posts.
    and you have total 2435 posts among allover the states of india.
    eligibility criteria
    firstly you are going to qualify the education qualification
    the minimum qualification required to qualify is 10+2 passed, if you are not passed the 10+2 than you have another option to qualify that you must have diploma full time to qualify .
    you must have 60% in your intermediate to qualify this examination .if you are belong to the any SC/ST/PWD/XS )castes than you have yo get 50% of marks in your intermediate to qualify.
    secondly you have to concentrate on your age limit.
    you must have 18-28 years as on December 2011, you must be very fluent in the written and English communication.
    you have some relaxation option ,here there is an list following the age relaxation
    • if you are belong to SC/ST castes than you have 5 years of age relaxation .
    • if you are belong to other backward castes(obc) castes than you have 3 years of age relaxation.
    • if you are belong to PWD(gen) castes than you have 10 years of age relaxation.
    • if you are belong to PWD(SC/ST) castes than you have 15 years of age relaxation.
    • if you are belong to PWD(OBC) castes than you have 13 years of age relaxation.
    • if your local place is Kashmir in JAMMU& Kashmir period from 01-0-1-1980 to 31-12-1989 than you
    have 5 years of age relaxation.
    the date of the examination is on 18-03-2012
    online registration opens on the date 28-12-2011
    online registration closes on the date of 20-01-2012
    you have to pay your fees on 30-12-2011 to 25-01-2012.
