    The minimum required height for NDA is 165cms.
    Chest shoulde be 77cms unexpanded and 82cms expanded.
    The minimum age should be 16.5 years to 19 years.
    And you shoulde be unmarried to apply for NDA.
    You need to completed with your 12th standard from a recogznized institution.

    FRIEND,

    NDA exam is conducted by UPSC and first of all there is one written test and after that there is One Interview called SSB and then One medical check up in which they will check if you are medically fit for Army or not.

    1)You must be physically fit and mentally fit and free from any disease/disability which is likely in interfere with the efficient performance of military duties.

    2)Your Body must be free from the weak constitution, bodily defects or under weight. Your weight must not be above than the standard.

    3)The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms. (162.5 cms for Air Force)

    NDA (National Defence Academy) is a defence service entrance exam offered for those candidates who are interested to join Indian Defence Services like Army, Navy and Air force after 12th .The entrance exam for NDA is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice in ayear namely NDA I and NDA II.

    Requirement for NDA exam:-
    • The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognized states board of India.
    • Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
    • Age limits is 16.5 years to 19 years.
    • Candidate should be a citizen of India.
    The minimum height requirement for NDA exam is 152 cm.I have losted the chart here.You can find out easily.

    Hello Friend !!

    NDA -- National Defense Academy.




    NDA is an Government Institution which is responsible to conduct the Entrance Examinations to recruit the Candidates into 3 main Indian Services.

    NDA Conducts Entrance Exam for :

    Indian Army,
    Indian NAVY and
    Indian Air Force.

    Eligibility Criteria :

    For NDA you must pass 10+2 in any discipline from a recognized Board.

    Your age must be in between 16.5 years to 19 years.

    Upper Age Limitations are applicable as per Govt Rules.

    Your Nationality must be Indian.

    If your height is not within157.5cms to 162.5cms then you cannot apply for Air Force wing.

    If your chest is less than 81cms cannot apply.

    You should have proper eye-sight.

    You should not be overweight or under weight.

    The minimum height requirement for NDA is 152 cm but height and weight both are equally important.

    A table for relation between height and weight requirement in NDA is attached with this message.
    Refer the attached document.

    For Indian Army and Indian Air Force +/- 10% of the indicated weight is permissible and for
    Indian Navy +/- 6Kg in the indicated weight is permissible.

    NDA stands for National Defense Academy

    NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year

    you can join the three wings of the defense sector through NDA such as:

    1.Indian navy
    2.Indian army
    3.Indian army

    But only science student can join Indian navy and Indian air force,other wise you can join indian army

    The eligibility criteria for NDA is:



    *you should be a citizen of india

    *your height should be in between 157cm

    *you should be free from any disease

    *your eye sight should be 6/6 or 6/9

    *you should have complete your 10+2 from recommended university

    *your age should be in between 16.5-19

    *you should be mentally physically strong

    Additional Requirements:

    Running : 2 to 4 Km. in 15 minutes
    Pushups : minimum 20 each sit-ups
    Chin ups : minimum 08
    Rope climbing : 3 to 4 meters.

    NDA is conduct by UPSC.


    ELIGIBILITY-

    you should passed your 12th in PCM with 60%.
    your age must between 16.5 - 19 years.
    your eyesight 6/6.
    you must an Indian.
    only unmarried candidates allowed.
    females not allowed.


    PHYSICAL ELIGIBILITY-

    your height- 165cms
    chest(unexpandale)- 78 cms
    chest(expandable)- 83 cms

    NDA stands for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY. The examination of the National Defence Academy is conducted by UPSC, New Delhi twice a year.
    The training involves an exacting schedule of 3 years before the cadets join their respective Service Academies, viz. Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy.


    Eligibility Criteria:

    Age: 16 to 19 years.

    Marital Status and Gender: Unmarried male candidates

    Educational Qualification: You should pass 12th in PCM with 60%.
    If you are appearing in the 12th Class then you can also apply for this examination.
