A pass in 10th class is the minimum qualification specified for IBPS clerical exam. The candidates should obtain at least 60% marks in 10th class to attend this exam. The 10th class should be passed from a recognized board. You can apply for clerical post after completing 12th class also. But in that case the minimum mark that one should score is 55%. The age for the candidates in the general category to apply for this exam is between 18-28 years. There is age relaxation for reserved categories.

Thumbs up Re: What are the minimum qualifying marks for the selection of clerical post conducted by IBPS for 19 public sector banks?

    Hi Dude......

There is no particular qualifying marks for the selection of the clerical cadre examination conducted by the IBPS in India.

The IBPS Stands for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and this is the main organizing body for the selection of candidates in to the various public sector banks which are participating in the recruitment criteria of the IBPS.
The examination needs tough preparation as there is lots of competition for the jobs in the 19 public sector banks.so you need to prepare more toughly and prepare all the previous years question papers for getting selected in the Examination of the IBPS.The clerical cadre is the first and most posts in the IBPS Recruitment criteria and the examination follows certain eligibility criteria and the examination pattern to be followed for being eligible for the examination.

    Eligibility criteria for clerical:
*You must have attained the age of 18 years and should not exceed the age of 28 years
*You must have completed the HSS Metriculation i.e,10th class with the recognization of the government of India......

for getting selected in the clerical examination you need to study hard and follw the examination pattern which is common for all the participating banks.....
There is no minimum marks for qualifying the examination. The cut off marks for the examination also depends on certain factors like
    >>Number of students appeared for the Examination
    >>Number of students qualified
    >>Number of total posts available for the current year recruitment.
    >>Examination paper
Generally the examination is conducted for the 250 marks and if you score of about 175 you will defenitely get the job in any one of the 19 public sector banks.....
That is you need to get of about 70% or marks......

Dear Friend, the minimum qualifying marks for you to pass out in IBPS cwe for clerical posts is 24 in all 5 subjects each, i.e., 120 marks. But , it does not ensures that you are sure to be elected so try to get 165 above marks out of 250 to hold a strong chance for posting in the first cutt- off.
