    Those candidate have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks are applicable for SBI CLERK exam.

    Tour age should be between 18 to 28 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

    Exam pattern of SBI clerk exam:-

    1.There will be 5 sections namely:-REASONING,APTITUDE,ENGLISH,GENERAL AWARENESS & COMPUTER/MARKETING AWARENESS.
    2.In every sections you will get 40 questions of 40 marks means 200 questions of 200 marks.
    3.Duration of exam will be 120 minutes.
    4.This paper will be objective.
    5.To qualify for interview one needs to score 50% in each of the sections.
    6.There will be negative marking also,for every wrong answer 0.25marks will be deducted.
    7.If a candidate score 50% or above even after deducting negative marking will call for interview.

    In order to qualify for the clerk exam you need to score 50% or above in each subjects.
    If you clear the exam will call for interview.& in interview minimum qualifying marks is to score 40% for GEN category & for reserved category 35%.

    The State bank of India is one of the most prestigious banks of India, and there are numerous vacancies which keep coming up every year.
    State bank of India conducts a nationwide entrance exam for recruitment into its clerical cadre. There is an eligibility criterion for the same, for a person to qualify for the written exam.

    The eligibility conditions are>>
    You (Male /Female) must have passed the 12th std with minimum 60 % marks. ( 55% for SC/ST/PWD).
    OR
    Must have done graduation with min 40% marks ( 35% for SC/ST/PWD)
    OR
    A Diploma course passed after 10th std subject to the conditions that it must be from a recognized institute, with a minimum of two years study. It should be a full time course (not through correspondence) with a minimum of 60% marks.

    Age criterion for SBI Clerical pos>>t
    There is a maximum and a minimum age limit for the exam. The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years. The upper age limit is relaxable for the following only:
    • SC/ST – 5 Years
    • OBC-3 Years
    • People with disability (PWD) –Gen- 10 years

    • PWD-OBC-13 Years

    Qualifying examination for the recruitment into clerical cadre

    Interview. The written test will be objective in nature consisting of

    The bank will call for interview those candidates who have cleared the written
    Test, subject to the condition that they obtain the minimum required marks in each objective test. The bank has the sole right to decide this cutoff. All the other information will be given in the booklet, which will be sent along with the call letter.

    Candidate must have 10+2 with 60% of marks for general candidates (55% for SC/ST)
    candidate must have at least 18 years for general candidates
    Maximum age limit is 28 years
    5 years relaxation in age for SC/ST Candidates and 3 years relaxation for BC Candidates

    Educational Qualification (as on 01.08.2012):-

    i) Minimum 12th Standard (10 + 2) pass or equivalent qualification with a minimum of
    aggregate 60% marks (55% for SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS).
    OR
    ii) A degree (Graduation level) from a recognised university.


    Age:- (As on 01.08.2012)

    i. Minimum Age :- 18 years ; Maximum Age: 28 years (as on 01.08.2012). Candidates born not earlier than 02.08.1984 and not later than 01.08.1994, both days inclusive are only eligible to apply.

    Age Relaxation:-

    1. SC / ST 5 years
    2. Other Backward Classes (OBC) 3 years


    Selection Procedure:-

    All eligible candidates should apply on-line before the last date for registration of application.

    a. Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the written test and interview taken together. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms does not entitle a candidate to be called for written test or interview.

    b. The written test will be of Objective type consisting of

    (i) General Awareness

    (ii) General English

    (iii) Quantitative Aptitude

    (iv) Reasoning Ability

    (v) Marketing Aptitude / Computer Knowledge.


    The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be printed bilingual i.e., English & Hindi.


    There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective tests.

    Candidate should be citizen of India.

    Candidate should complete the 12th standard from recognized state board.

    No percentage required for this exam.

    Your age limit should be between 18 to 28 years.

    Upper age relaxation applicable for other categories.

    3 years relaxation for OBC.

    5 years relaxation for SC\ST.

    10 years relaxation for PWD.
