    Hello Friend,

    The minimum educational qualification required to write the bank exam is the candidate should be graduate from any recognized university.

    Age Limit:

    Minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age is 30 yrs for general category .
    There is a age relaxation for the reservation candidates . For sc/st candidates the age relaxation is 5 years.
    For OBC category candidates the age relaxation is 5 years .
    The age limit varies from one bank to another bank.
    Before applying for any bank exam once check the basic requirements and qualifications you need .

    BANK EXAMINATION ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA -

    If your Interest in bank Recruitment examination, then you have to fulfill the given eligibility criteria only then you are eligible to apply for Bank Recruitment examination.

    Candidates may apply for bank Clerical examination OR Bank PO Examination Post and the eligibility criteria for both these examination are different, But if you have completed your Graduation degree course, then you are eligible for both these recruitment Examination.

    For Bank Clerical Examination -

    >> For Nationalized Banks Like SBI, you need to complete your 12Th examination with minimum 60% marks form a recognised university and your age should between 18 to 28 years.

    But for IBPS Examination, you need to complete your 10Th examination with minimum 60% marks OR completed your 12Th examination with minimum 50% marks OR completing your Graduation degree course in any discipline form a recognised university.

    So, If you have fulfill any one of the given eligibility, then you are eligible for IBPS Clerical examination, the age eligibility criteria are same as the SBI, So your age should between 18 to 28 years to apply for this examination.

    Bank PO Eligiblity Criteria -

    To apply for Bank PO Examination, your age should between 21 to 30 years and you must have completed your Graduation degree course in any discipline form a recognised university.

    There is no minimum percentage is required for SBI and IBPS Bank PO Examination.

    But if you have apply for Private banks then for this you have to scored minimum 55% marks in your graduate degree course and your age should not be more than 25 years.

    There are two types of exams they are as follows they are the Bank PO`s & Bank CLERKS. For the PO`s the eligibility criteria is as follows, they are

    ELIGIBILITY FOR THE BANK PO`S
    1.He must be an Indian.
    2.He must have completed his graduation with a minimum of 60%.
    3.Must be within the age group of 21-30years.

    ELIGIBILITY FOR THE CLERKS
    1.Candidate must be an Indian.
    2.He must be within the age group of 18-28years.
    3.He must had completed his +2 with a minimum of 50% OR
    4.Must have 60% in his matriculation OR
    5.Must have completed his graduation.

    These are the minimum qualifications for the BANK PO`s & BANK CLERKS.

    All the common Bank Examinations are conducted by an Institution named as IBPS .

    IBPS -- Institute of Banking Personnel Selection .

    The Eligibility for IBPS exam is :

    Educational Qualification
    The candidate should have a graduation degree from a recognized university. Candidates belonging to general category should be a graduate in any stream or its equivalent with 65% in aggregate. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC must be a graduate in any stream or its equivalent with 60% or more.
    Preferably the candidates should also have some knowledge in computers and should have a training certificate from a recognized institution.

    Age:
    The age limit is minimum 21 and maximum 30 years for general category. The upper limit is relxed for SC/ST/OBC and PWD candidates.

    Written Test Pattern -- The candidates have to appear in a written examination which is both objective and descriptive paper.
    Syllabus for the Exam
    1.Reasoning (Verbal and Non-verbal)
    2.English
    3.Quantitative Aptitude
    4.General Awareness with special reference to banking
    5.Computer Knowledge

    Descriptive paper is just for qualifying marks and consists of questions of essaye writing,precise and letter writing.

    IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) is the Board that is responsible for Conducting exams for the post of Clerical Cadre , PO and Specialist officers under 19 public sector banks in India. The exam is named as Common Written exam(CWE).



    For the post of a clerk:

    You Should complete your 10+2 from a recognized boardwith any discipline.
    You Should be a citizen of India.
    You must have attained 18 years and must not be more than 28 years.
    Upper age relaxation applicable for SC/ST(5 years) and OBC(3 years).

    For the post of a PO:

    You Should complete your Graduation from a recognized university with any discipline.
    You Should be a citizen of India.
    You must have attained 21 years and must not be more than 30 years.
    Upper age relaxation applicable for SC/ST and OBC.
    You Should have good Communication skills.
    You Should have Knowledge About computers.

    For the post of a Specialist officer:

    Scale I officer- 21 years to 35 years
    Scale II officer- 21 years to 45 years

    you must complete your bachelor's degree with 60% in any stream from a recognized university.
    if you are in final year student then you are eligible.
    your age must between 21 - 30 yrs.
    5 year age relaxation for SC/ST candidates & 3 year relaxation for OBC candidates.

    Banking reqiured different qualification for clerk and PO post.
    For Clerk post:
    The candidate must score 50% in 12th class.
    The candidate must score 60% in matriculation or have complete graduation.
    The age must be with in 18 to 28 years.
    The candidate should be Indian.

    For PO post requirements are:
    The candidate must have completed graduation with 60%.
    The candidate must be Indian.
    The age should be between 21 to 30 years.

    Banking Sector Examinations are one of the most demand full career which is available for the candidates who wish to settle their career in the Banking sector.The Banking are of the public sector and also the private sector banks are also available,the main thing needed is that you need to qualify the examination for the entry level for the Banking sector and the candidates who had selected only will be given the opportunity for the jobs in the Banking sector........
    There are generally two kinds of selection will be done for two different posts such as the
    Clerical Recruitment
    PO/Management Trainee Recruitment
    These two categories o posts will be done for the selection criteria and the candidates who had selected will be given the jobs in the Banks,.........

    The private sector banks will be having different criteria for different banks and for appearing to the clerical posts in the private sectors you need to have at least of the 12th pass.........

    Here is the required eligibility criteria for Clerk Post:

    For appearing in Bank exams the minimum qualification is , you must be graduate in any stream. But commerce stream graduates are prefered more. You must have minimum 60% marks in graduation. Most of the banks exams have questions related to these subjects-

    The Bank exams are conducted for CLERK and d P.O posts throughout various banks in INDIA.

    The following are the eligibility details for the Bank PO Exams:

    AGE:

    * The candidate must have attained 20 years and must not be more than 30 years of age.

    * There is also age relaxation provided for reserved candidates.

    * For SC/ST students: 5 years,

    * For OBC students: 3 years,

    * For PWD students : 10 years.

    1) For Bank PO's(Probationary Officer)
    2) For Clerical Post

    IBPS - Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts a common exam for all bank exams...

    Eligibility Criteria for Bank PO's:-

    • Should be a graduate from any recognized university with 60%
    • Age should be between 21-30 years..

    • Candidate should have basic computer knowledge

    Eligibility for clerical post:-
