There is no percentage criteria to select stream after 10th class. You can select any stream medical/no medical, commerce or arts according to your interest irrespective of percentage scored in 10th class. There is lot of scope in both medical and non medical stream. If you choose science stream with biology you can go for MBBS for this you have to face competitive exams like BHU,PMT, CPMT etc. Other options in biology are BDS, B.Pharma, B.Sc microbiology, B.Tech biotech etc. Every field has wide scope. Now if you choose science stream with maths then you would have option to become engineer. To do engineering you have to give exams like IIT-JEE, AIEEE etc. Other options in maths are B.Sc, B.Arch, BCA, BBA. If you choose commerce stream then you can go for CA. Also you would have option to work in banks, you can do graduation and diploma in finance and other commerce subject. you can do B.Com, BBA. Similarly in Arts side you would have options to do graduation in any of the humanities subject.

So I suggest you to take some time out thinking about your interest, likes, dislikes. Decide what you wan to study and what is your ambition. Choose the subject according to your interest not according to marks scored in 10 class.

There's no such specification. It depends entirely on the schools that provide Science stream. By taking Medical, you can be a doctor by doing MBBS, BDS etc. In non Medical u can be a Engg by clearing entrance exams like AIEEE, IIT, VITEE, KIIT etc. Otherwise u can do B Sc in both case. Its better to have PCMB combination.

The percentage required to get to get admission in Science stream in any school differs from school to school. It is a fact that some of the best schools in India require a very high percentage to secure a seat in the science stream. And it may be possible that some of the best schools of your city may require a very high percentage in 10th standard to get admission in science stream.
This is because of the reason that science stream is usually reserved for the most meritorious candidates and it is a general phenomenon that only good students are comfortable with this stream as it requires to manage with both practical as well as theoretical problems.

So, you can get admission in any good school according to the percentage obtained by you in 10th standard. You can opt for either Maths or Biology as your main subject in 11th standard.
The career options if you pursued Maths(non medical fiel can be as follows- Engineering (B.Tech, B.E, etc) in the field of your choice or non engineering field (B.Sc in the area of your choice). Apart from that you can move into other fields for example- BBA , BMS, travel and tourism, hotel management, etc.

The career options if you choose Biology(medical) can be as follows- MBBS, Bio techology, Bio informatics, Bio chemistry, etc which all relate to different fields and can be selected by you based on your personal interests. You can choose accordingly.even if you choose biology in 11th standard you can move into non medical field by ot opting for MBBS or a similar degree.

If you are getting confuse very much then you need to analyse your interests. If you get to know your interests then you will get to know that which stream is good for you. Both the medical and non medical streams are good and have good scope. You have to do one thing that you must consult with your parents and teachers, they will tell you the best way but if you have interest in any particular field then choose that stream.I am here explaining about both the streams with details. MEDICAL-This field have a wide scope and have lot of job opportunities. This stream is good for those who desire to make career in medical field. NON-MEDICAL-This field includes engineering course where different branches are there.
