Thumbs up Re: What is the minimum percentage that is required in 12th to get admission for B.Tech?

After passing 12th class with more then 55% marks you can apply for the B.Tech entrance exam. The main entrance exams for the B.Tech is IIT-JEE, AIEEE, VITEEE, SRMEEE, RPET or other state level exams. If you score here good rank then you can apply for the good colleges then you can select any one college and then you can get admission in B.Tech.

    Aspirants

    >>For all the b.tech entrance exam you should have atleast 60% in the 12th.

    >>But IT WILL ALSO DEPEND UPON THE EXAM WHICH YOU WANT TO GIVE.

    >>If you give the exams like IIT jEE or AIEEE than you should have atleast 60%.but if you will give the exam like A.M.U or UPSEE than you will have only 50% in 12th.

    >.SO last it will totally depend upon the exam which you will give for the B.TECH.but i say you will have Atleast 60% in the 12th.

    All the best

    Hi there!
    >>There are many national level and state level universities conduct engineering entrance examination for their respective engineering seats.
    >>AICTE is the government body provides rules and affiliation to the universities and engineering colleges.

    >>Minimum criteria by AICTE
-12th pass with minimum of 50% marks in PCM(physics, chemistry and mathematics)
-If you are an ST/SC,then your minimum marks requirement is 45%.
-You can take admission to the 2nd year(lateral entry),you should have a minimum of 50% in your diploma level.

    >>The above criteria matches with all the state level engineering entrance examination along with AIEEE(All India engineering Entrance Examination).

    >>But for the IIT-JEE following is the criteria:
-You should have 60% in aggregate at your 12th standard.
-You can appear 2 times atmost.
-Your age has to be less than 25 years

    all the best......

    Dear friend,
There is no percentage criteria for getting admission in b.tech.The only thing is that you should get good rank in EAMCET which will give you lots of benefits like, you can chose your branch and college of your wish.your selection should be in such a way that you wont regret after joining in that college. For this you need to know about the college and then join. It will be good if you maintain a minnimum of 65% in your 12th which will be asked to put in your resume for jobs. Hoping you for the best.

    All the best!!

Re: What is the minimum percentage that is required in 12th to get admission for B.Tech?

    HI:

after 10+2 with maths you can go for B.TECH, for that there are various entrance examinations:

    some of them are:

    >IIT-JEE(Indian institute of technology-joint entrance test);

you can appear for IIT twice.

-for IIT-JEE you may appear along with 10+2.
    - after 10+2 you must have 60% if you are dealing with GEN/OBC, and 55% for SC/ST.

    >AIEEE(all india engineering entrance examination):

    >FOR AIEEE 50% requred in 10+2.

    >BITSAT:-

MINIMUM 80% are required for appearing in BITSAT.

    >VIEEE:

    >ICAR:

    >others is :

SLEEE (state level engineering entrance examination)

OTHER EXAMINATIONS are having criteria approx. 45% (including SLEEE).
