    CTET will be a compulsory and essential requirement for securing a teaching job in all types of central schools.

    You must have a valid degree for B.Ed course.The certificate can not be more than 7 years old.

    There will be 2 papers with objective multiple choice questions. Each paper will consist of 150 questions. These papers are intended for different levels of teaching as described below.

    1. Paper I: For those want to become teachers for classes I-V.
    2. Paper II: For those want to teach classes between VI and VIII.
    3. Paper I and II: Those interested in teaching from Class I to VIII will have to appear and qualify in both the papers.

    Age:- There is no upper age limit to apply for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).

    1. Child Development and Pedagogy
    2. Mathematics
    3. Environmental Study
    4. Language I (medium of instruction)
    5. Language II (chosen from a list other than language I)

    As specified above each section will have 30 questions of one mark each.

    CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test.

    To apply for CTET exam :-

    For 1st to 5th :-
    • You need to have passed the senior secondary with at least 50% marks .
    • You can also apply if your in the final year of Diploma course.

    For 6th to 8th:-
    • You need to have completed graduation in any streams with at least 50% marks.

    There is no age limit for this exam .

    So you can apply at any age.

    CTET is a Central Teacher eligibility Test which is conducted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

    Eligibility criteria:

    >There is no age limit for the CTET Exam.
    For classes I-V:
    >BA/B.Sc with atleast 50% of marks and B.Ed qualification is also eligible

    For classes VI-VIII:

    >BA/B.Sc/B.Com with atleast 50% of marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed
    >Senior secondary or its equivalent with atleast 50% marks passed or appearing in final year Bachelor in Elementary Education
    >A diploma /degree course in teacher education recognised by NCTE only considered
    >Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks at BA/B.Sc for SC/ST and differently abled candidates.


    Cost of CTET Information Bulletin and Application Form

    >For General/OBC candidates Rs.500/-
    >For SC/ST/Differently abled candidates Rs.250/-The eligibility conditions are:

    CTET exam is for those aspirant who want to teach in all type of central schools. conditions for this exam are:

    1. you should have a valid b.ed degree which should be not 7 years old.

    2. minimum age according to your qualification and there is no specified upper age limit just you have to give the exam within 7 years after b.ed

    structure of exam is:
    1. there will be two papers which will consist 150 questions of objective type.

    2.paper 1 is for them who want to teach student of class 1 to 5.

    3. paper 2 is for them who want to teach student of class 6-8.

    4. those whowant to teach student from class from 1-8 will have to apear in both exams and also to qualify.

    5. paper will contain 5 section which are as follow:
    1.Child Development and Pedagogy
    2.Mathematics
    3. Environmental Study
    4.Language I (medium of instruction)
    5.Language II (chosen from a list other than language I)

    Well mine according to a new regulation generated, all teachers in CBSE schools or governmenatl schools must have passed CTET examination.

    That's what lead it get in so light.

    Well, there's no any age limit in CTET.



    Eligiblity criteria for Primary stage :

    >> Graduation of two years Diploma in Elementary education.

    >> At least 45% of marks in Diploma or Bachelor Elementary Education.

    Eligibility for Elementary Stage:

    ?>> with at least 50% marks in Diploma or Bachelor Elementary Education or B.ed.

    Syllabus for CTET is :

    Paper I for classes 1 to 5 duration of examination is one and half hours there is 150 Multiple Choice Questions given there will be 150 marks.

    CTET Syllabus :

    1. Child Development and Pedagogy 30 questions and 30 marks

    2. Language I 30 questions and 30 marks

    3. Language II 30 questions and 30 marks

    4. Mathematics 30 questions and 30 marks

    5. Environment Studies 30 questions and 30 marks

    Totally it consists of 150 questions and 150 marks.

    Paper II for classes 6 to 8 duration of examination is one and half hours there is 210 Multiple Choice Questions given there will be 210 marks.

    (1) Child Development and Pedagogy (Compulsory) 30 questions and 30 marks

    (2) Language I (Compulsory) 30 questions and 30 marks

    (3) Language II (Compulsory) 30 questions and 60 marks

    (4) a) for mathematics and Science teacher 60 questions and 60 marks

    b) for Social Studies/Social Science teacher 60 questions and 60 marks

    CTET is the Central Teacher Eligibility Test.It is conducted by central board of secondary education.

    The minimum qualification for you to write CTET exam is that you must have completed your degree.

    Therefore, the minimum age required is 22.

    There is no upper age limit for this.

    CTET - Central Teacher Eligibility Test.

    Eligibility Criteria -

    For class I to V:

    you must have passed the senior secondary with at least 50% marks .
    5% relaxation for backward categories.
    Final year students of their diploma can also apply for the examination .


    For class VI to VIII:

    you must have completed graduation in any streams with at least 50% marks.
    5% relaxation for Backward Categories.

    There are no minimum and maximum age limits available for the CTET Central Teacher eligibility Test you can apply at any age after completion of your education qualification needed to apply for the posts and after getting qualified in the examination you will be given the opportunity for work in these Central schools..............



    This CTET Examination is conducted by the CBSE board of education and the next CTET Examination is conducted in the months of the November 2012.There are minimum educational qualifications which are required in order to apply for the CTET Examination and there are two kinds of posts which are available for the CTET Recruitment and some of the qualifications required to apply for CTET examination are.........
