The minimum cutoff marks for the graduates after writing gate and to get into the M.tech admissions in the IITs and NITs.so you can get the seat in those institutes if you get the marks of 40 and above.so the better score will be given first preference in the admission of the iits and nits.the different engineering branches will have different cutoff mark for the admissions.
