The term 'entrepreneur' has been defined in a variety of ways as it is an elusive concept ill cannot be defined precisely. A few important and relevant definitions of the term are given below.

(2) The Oxford English Dictionary defines entrepreneur as "one who undertakes an enterprise, especially a contractor acting as intermediary between capital and labour".

Enterprenuer is a person who organizes an enterprise/company successfully.He has to invest the capital for the company.

Simply to say that he is a pioneer to the company ho organizes each and every functionality of the company effectively.

He should be courageous enough to face challenges / risks to make profits to the company.

He should have good communication skills, leadership skills etc.., to organize an enterprise perfectly.

Enterprenuership means the enterprenuer who organizes a company or business for the purpose of profits.

This may result in new organizations or may be part of revitalizing mature organizations in response to a perceived opportunity.
