    1.For the purpose of maintanance of cost records and Cost audit u/s233B of companies act,1956.

    2.Valuation audit under Central Excise Act.

    3.Audit under Vat and Special audit under Customs Act.

    4.For determination of product prices.

    5.Tax consultant.

    6.Project planning or financial adviser.

    ->you need to have completed your 12th class for joining this course.
    ->there are three stages in this course:-

    ->for foundation course,you have to complete your 12th with good marks.
    ->for intermediate course,you have to completed your graduation with good marks.
    ->if you clear the intermediate course then you can directly eligible for final stage of ICWA course.

    ICWA course details::

    There are three levels in the ICWA course.

    Foundation course ::

    Qualification Criteria

    You must have completed the XII exam

    Age ::

    You should be atleast 17 years

    Intermediate course::

    Eligibility :

    You must have passed ICWA Foundation or have done graduation in any discipline

    Final course.

    Eligibility :

    You must have have passed Intermediate Examination

    your age must above 18 years.
    you have to complete your 12th from a recognized state board.

    Three stages for exam -

    FOUNDATION
    INTERMEDIATE
    FINAL

    if you complete your graduation then you have only two stages-

    INTERMEDIATE
    FINAL

The institute offers both oral and distance education. The minimum required to join for this course is 12th standard. This qualification should have been secured from a recognised institute.     ICWAI means The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants Of India which is one of the best institutions for the field of Accountancy of Cost and Management in India.

    To complete the course ,you should complete three stages of the entire course:
    >Foundation Course
    >Intermediate Course
    >Final Course
    The ICWA course at the Foundation level (ICWAI: Foundation Examination) consists of only theoretical examinations. There are 6 subjects to be studied arranged into 4 papers of 100 marks each.
    To pass you have to obtain a minimum of 40% in each paper and an aggregate of 50% in all the papers together, failing which the student has to reappear in all the papers again.
    A student has to get through these to be eligible to go for the next level i.e. INTERMEDIATE.
    Following is pattern of your examination:>>
    Each paper 3 hours-100 Marks Paper
    Organisation and Management Fundamentals [100 marks]
    > Section I: Organisation (30 Marks)
    > Section II: Management (70 Marks)
    > Paper
    Financial Accounting Fundamentals [100 marks]

    A cost accountant specialises in navigating managerial decisions, stabilising budgets and standards, assessing operational efficiency and the effectiveness of production and service management, identifying accountability for profit variance and so on.

    His responsibilities include: designing and implementing effective management information and control systems, planning costing systems and methods, inventory control incorporating mathematical models, investment analysis, project management, internal audit, cost audit, diagnosis in the case of sick industries, fund management, pricing planning, interpreting information and data related to business activities and translating them in such a way as to guide the core management into taking the right decisions.

    ICWA- Institute of Costs and Work Accountants.
    There are 3 level of courses-
    Foundation course- After class 12th one can get admission in this course.
    In this organisation and management fundamentals,accounting, economics and business fundamentals, Business mathematics and statistics fundamentals topics are dealt.
    Intermediate course- Any one who have done graduation or have passed the foundation course can opt for it. It has two levels
    Final course- After intermediate course final course should be done. It has also 2 levels.
    ICWA takes exams twice in a year.

    After completing the course one can get jobs in PSU( Public sector undertakings), MNC's and various private companies.
    You can get a job of financial advisor or accountant professionals........

    after ICWA the candidate is supposed to maintain cost related records and their auditng.

    IMPORTANT THING :

    - if you complete 12th means eligible to join foundation level

    - if you complete undergraduate means you can directly join intermediate level

    - After that who are all complete the intermediate level can eligible to join final level

    TWO TYPES OF COACHING :

    ORAL :

    - if the oral coaching means you must atten the class regularly

    POSTAL :


    - if the postal coaching means you can atten the test directly not to atten regular class
